00;02;09;14 - 00;02;11;11 Seth Self-care for your mind.

00;02;11;13 - 00;02;12;29 Stephanie Self-care for your body.

00;02;13;01 - 00;02;14;23 Seth Self-care for your money.

00;02;14;26 - 00;02;23;15 Stephanie Our mission is to serve women as they fulfill their irreplaceable roles and families, society, business, the fabric of humanity.

00;02;23;17 - 00;02;33;07 Seth So let's get this show on the road. We are here today in the studio. Bright ladies with McKenna. Wooly. Thank you. McKenna. Yeah.

00;02;33;12 - 00;02;35;10 McKenna You're welcome. Thank you. Every year.

00;02;35;16 - 00;02;38;23 Seth Stephanie. Stephanie, so honored to have you on the show.

00;02;38;26 - 00;02;44;01 McKenna Okay. Why? Oh, tell me why I'm interviewing you first. Oh, wow.

00;02;44;01 - 00;02;49;27 Seth Okay, this. I got to find out if we're worthy and if this is a really short episode, then we didn't pass.

00;02;50;00 - 00;03;07;23 Stephanie All right. Well, it actually kind of goes back a ways. I've never even talked to you about this. Okay, but, I started seeing you in some different, like, Instagram or Facebook groups. Okay. And a senior comment on things, and I was drawn to you. Sweet. And I was like, I want to be her friend. I want to get to know her.

00;03;07;24 - 00;03;08;11 McKenna I like.

00;03;08;11 - 00;03;13;17 Stephanie That. And, but I wasn't sure how to do it without coming off creepy.

00;03;13;19 - 00;03;15;06 Seth I can help you that.

00;03;15;07 - 00;03;20;06 McKenna We just talked about this. I didn't know he could help me.

00;03;20;09 - 00;03;37;09 Stephanie The more that I saw you talk and post, and I just kept filling like this drawer, like I need a beer, friend. And I didn't know why. I don't know if it's for you or for me or both or something in the future. And I was just like, for a long time I've been like, how am I going to become her friend?

00;03;37;09 - 00;03;40;18 Stephanie Like, I only know her through social media and.

00;03;40;18 - 00;03;46;24 McKenna That literally all of my friends, all of my books are came from social media. Oh that's awesome. Yeah.

00;03;46;26 - 00;03;48;03 Stephanie So it's working.

00;03;48;03 - 00;03;50;18 McKenna It's work. Yeah, it actually works.

00;03;50;18 - 00;03;59;06 Stephanie Yeah. And then Ashley Bridgewater was like, oh, I've got to introduce you to one of my friends. I think you guys were just jive. Yeah. And I was like, okay sweet.

00;03;59;07 - 00;04;02;29 McKenna Yeah, yeah. She kept like trying to create these connections for us.

00;04;02;29 - 00;04;06;22 Stephanie Yeah she did. And then just recently it seems like we've connected a handful of times.

00;04;06;22 - 00;04;09;02 McKenna Yeah, yeah. You just come into my stuff.

00;04;09;05 - 00;04;09;25 Stephanie Yeah.

00;04;09;28 - 00;04;18;16 McKenna Yeah. Well that's good. My Leah needs validation. Yes. So that it feels good and dance like. Okay. Yeah.

00;04;18;16 - 00;04;20;23 Stephanie Remember I'm a fellow Leo, so I understand.

00;04;20;23 - 00;04;27;22 McKenna Yes. We do need we do need validation. Yes. So. And I was not wrong. It's not wrong to seek it.

00;04;27;24 - 00;04;29;16 Seth Oh there's permission.

00;04;29;19 - 00;04;35;09 McKenna Yeah I. Michelle, do you feel good? What are you. What are you doing I don't know,

00;04;35;11 - 00;04;45;12 Seth

  1. like it's your birthday. Oh, you're talking about astrology.

00;04;45;14 - 00;04;47;14 Stephanie And you're taller than five. Go ahead.

00;04;47;17 - 00;04;50;14 Seth We're going to be talking about Jesus. Crystals and astrology.

00;04;50;14 - 00;04;51;21 McKenna Yes. All of the.

00;04;51;23 - 00;04;52;20 Seth Those.

00;04;52;23 - 00;04;55;27 McKenna And how they marry each other. Okay.

00;04;55;29 - 00;04;56;26 Seth Libra.

00;04;56;29 - 00;04;59;13 McKenna Okay. September ish. Are you September.

00;04;59;15 - 00;05;11;01 Seth October 16th. Okay. Yeah, yeah. For those who like to send me gifts, our mailing address is. So you just want me to be intuitive and see that if you're actually moving.

00;05;11;04 - 00;05;15;08 Stephanie Yeah, you're very intuitive when I'm in labor.

00;05;15;10 - 00;05;15;28 McKenna No, I.

00;05;15;28 - 00;05;20;15 Seth Am, yeah. What a blessing. Yeah. We we got to do two home deliveries.

00;05;20;15 - 00;05;39;00 McKenna Sweet. I've done all home deliveries, and that's the best it is. I wouldn't have it any other way. Seriously. Me too. Did you have assistance, midwives, or were you the midwife? So the. The miss. You were the.

00;05;39;02 - 00;05;51;07 Stephanie So I had two kids previously. And then. So the first one we had together, we did plan on a home birth course with my second one I had, some injuries in my spine with epidural.

00;05;51;11 - 00;05;51;21 McKenna Yeah.

00;05;51;26 - 00;05;59;06 Stephanie And so, just, you know, we got pregnant and just talked about wanting a midwife. And at first, I want to do it. And the birthing center.

00;05;59;08 - 00;05;59;28 McKenna Yeah.

00;06;00;02 - 00;06;04;17 Stephanie And, but Seth knew that, like, my end goal. Like, I really, really, really wanted to do an at home.

00;06;04;17 - 00;06;05;07 McKenna Yeah.

00;06;05;10 - 00;06;20;24 Stephanie But I was so nervous, between, you know, having that experience at the hospital. Yeah. And then also, my sister had a stillborn. Yeah. before I found out I was pregnant with my first. Yeah. And then my ex sister in law, I think two years later had a stillborn.

00;06;20;26 - 00;06;23;11 McKenna And so it's a lot of fear to heal.

00;06;23;11 - 00;06;39;01 Stephanie Yes. A lot. And so, we just went to the clinics and we would we didn't say for sure one or the other. but we'd ask questions and stuff. It was always that's another time that you were very intuitive, was asking the right questions to give me peace, to be able to.

00;06;39;01 - 00;06;40;07 McKenna Do it at home. Yeah.

00;06;40;09 - 00;06;52;23 Stephanie And so, yeah, we do at home. So the first one, the long story, it's actually pretty amazing story. But long story short is we call the midwife. When my water broke and we thought we had a few hours.

00;06;52;24 - 00;06;56;04 Seth It was 9:08 p.m., I think. 906 9:08 p.m..

00;06;56;07 - 00;06;57;06 McKenna

00;06;57;12 - 00;07;05;04 Stephanie No, I think the first call was the second call when my water broke or. No, I can't remember all I remember was.

00;07;05;06 - 00;07;08;11 McKenna He remembers 908. It's pretty straightforward.

00;07;08;11 - 00;07;10;06 Stephanie At 928.

00;07;10;08 - 00;07;11;21 McKenna Okay.

00;07;11;23 - 00;07;13;29 Stephanie from the time my water broke until she was on her own.

00;07;14;00 - 00;07;15;00 McKenna So she wasn't.

00;07;15;00 - 00;07;15;23 Stephanie She did not show.

00;07;15;23 - 00;07;17;18 McKenna Up since that time, so it was unnecessary.

00;07;17;19 - 00;07;18;17 Seth She was on her way.

00;07;18;21 - 00;07;24;24 Stephanie She was on her way. And, so from the time my water broke until she was on her arms was like 8 or 9 minutes later.

00;07;24;26 - 00;07;25;14 McKenna amazing.

00;07;25;14 - 00;07;32;20 Stephanie And I was using because I didn't know that I was in transition. Yeah. until she started crowning and he was out talking to the midwife.

00;07;32;20 - 00;07;33;03 McKenna Yeah.

00;07;33;03 - 00;07;45;13 Stephanie On the cell phone. Yeah. So I was alone in the bathroom. In the bathtub. I was freaking out. I went into complete shock. Honestly. I could feel her coming in, and then I was transitioning. Yeah, I didn't realize it until I saw her crowning.

00;07;45;13 - 00;07;47;03 McKenna Yeah. You're like, okay.

00;07;47;04 - 00;07;58;20 Stephanie And then, like, he walked in and I was like, she's coming. And he's like, who's coming? I'm like, she's coming right back. He's like, who is coming? Stephanie? I'm like, her daughter is.

00;07;58;20 - 00;08;02;08 McKenna Coming, right? Oh, I'm so he comes over.

00;08;02;10 - 00;08;12;14 Stephanie Sees her crowning and he I think you might remember it now, but for a while he couldn't remember that he did this. He looks down and sees her head and it was like, oh, Lord, help me.

00;08;12;16 - 00;08;13;21 McKenna And then she like.

00;08;13;24 - 00;08;15;03 Stephanie Just like, cut right to it.

00;08;15;03 - 00;08;15;23 McKenna And, you know.

00;08;15;29 - 00;08;17;14 Seth Caught in the tub. There you go.

00;08;17;14 - 00;08;24;02 McKenna And then she you were a midwife. You were a mad man wife or husband. Wife.

00;08;24;04 - 00;08;25;05 Seth That was a mid husband.

00;08;25;07 - 00;08;25;25 McKenna Mid husband.

00;08;25;27 - 00;08;34;20 Seth That was a mother. There you go. Oh my God I just wanted to be there. I just want to be there. I will tell you, that is almost one of the most spiritual experience I've ever had in my life.

00;08;34;21 - 00;08;35;11 McKenna Yeah.

00;08;35;13 - 00;08;42;20 Seth Being able to bring our daughter, you know, with you and, and hold her in that tub to do a water bath, right.

00;08;42;21 - 00;08;43;28 McKenna Yeah, yeah.

00;08;44;00 - 00;09;15;29 Seth And, it's powerful. Yeah. It's powerful. It's babies are amazing. But to be that close to the whole process and unashamed, you know, no social constructs that are that are tainted or uninspired, right? Just beautiful. It was just it was absolutely just beautiful. The whole all of it, every thing. And to hold her there, literally. The midwife.

00;09;16;01 - 00;09;26;01 Seth I had my phone on the edge. We have a large tub and stairs up to it. Right? So we have all this room, I said. I set my phone down, we're FaceTiming. She's like, do you have FaceTime?

00;09;26;06 - 00;09;39;22 Stephanie So I was literally in shock at this time. I could not feel anything going on with my body. Yeah, because like as soon as he was in there, I'm like, I'm good. Yeah, I just feel like body take over. But at the same time I had been holding her in, which was horrible. And I paid for it afterwards.

00;09;39;22 - 00;09;53;11 Stephanie Yes. So I was in shock and, you know, he was talking to the midwife and just like, do you, do you have internet? Because, you know, we live out in the country. Yeah. And I like I totally came out of shock. I was like, oh no, she is not going to tell him to YouTube. Is she?

00;09;53;17 - 00;09;54;26 Seth Like, let's.

00;09;54;28 - 00;09;55;28 McKenna Like.

00;09;56;00 - 00;09;59;10 Stephanie Nurse thought not to record it, but because like when you don't know.

00;09;59;10 - 00;10;03;09 Seth Oh I go search things on YouTube how to do how to. Yeah how to deliver a baby.

00;10;03;09 - 00;10;08;19 McKenna That's counting. I was sitting right at that minute. Oh okay.

00;10;08;27 - 00;10;15;11 Seth So that's 20 minute video. I don't know instructions needed. I got to watch it on for so.

00;10;15;11 - 00;10;28;10 Stephanie So as soon as she was like okay, so tiny. This was before you were face. I mean you're just on the phone. And so she's like FaceTime me. And I was like, oh. And I totally went back into shock. I kind of feel anything. Yeah. And, I had fetal ejection where, you know, my body just pushed posture out.

00;10;28;10 - 00;10;46;18 Stephanie Yeah. So it was very quick. And he likes to joke. he hasn't done a lot lately, but he used to say all the time. Yeah. I just call me Doctor Molder. I like, I mean, I was setting patients for delivery. I'm like, hey, you did not deliver the baby, I did. No. You call? No.

00;10;46;20 - 00;10;48;02 McKenna That's what she always said.

00;10;48;05 - 00;10;55;29 Seth Me, I always say I deliver babies, but I truly like if we're if we're talking about sports, if you deliver something, you are you're sending something. So I think you're.

00;10;55;29 - 00;10;57;05 McKenna Told her body that that but.

00;10;57;08 - 00;11;15;24 Seth Her body. That's right. I was happy I was happy to be there learning assistance. Hey, you know what I. And connection. That's unbelievable. Yeah. And and honestly, as the midwives talking us through this and and you're holding your baby, she's like, okay, hold her. You know, hold her like this. Hold her. You know, I think she was face down.

00;11;15;24 - 00;11;24;07 Seth Yeah. She was face down at the time. And just just chill like that for a minute just to be able to be so intimate with that whole process.

00;11;24;10 - 00;11;51;28 McKenna Yeah. To slow it down, to not be in a rush at birth is literally what sent me on. Like my health journey, like giving, not giving birth, but getting pregnant and getting ready to give birth was like that thing that was the catalyst for me. to change my entire lifestyle. To go from very conventional upbringing to very holistic was that was my holistic motherhood.

00;11;52;05 - 00;12;13;08 McKenna Yes. Yes, for sure. Because my first home, my first birth, I went from, yeah, I'll test the waters, I'll go to an OB, I went to the same OB, all my sister in law go to, and he told the same jokes that I heard my sister in law say he told and it was like, okay, okay, this seems kind of conveyor belt ish.

00;12;13;10 - 00;12;38;01 McKenna Like you're in there for 15 minutes and hey, do you have any questions? And you're like, this new mom? Yeah. I don't even know what to ask. Like you don't even have material to ask with. And so I was like, yeah, you know, that's it set me on my intuition journey. And I feel like every, every child that I've had has sent me on an even deeper intuition journey.

00;12;38;01 - 00;13;01;11 McKenna And I think many, many women are stripped of that because we give up our authority to to the outside source, to the doctor, to the hospital. Regulations like to anything that basically gives us these constraints. We are giving up our intuition. We're giving up our instincts and our motherly and our our authority. We're handing it over to someone else.

00;13;01;11 - 00;13;13;21 McKenna And so that's something that like, sent me down my passion, my passion train. I don't know what it is, but yeah, birth was it's my one of my favorite topics. Me too.

00;13;13;24 - 00;13;15;15 Stephanie Yeah. It's powerful. Yeah.

00;13;15;18 - 00;13;42;23 McKenna Because I mean, it transforms you as a woman and it it really connects you to all of your emotions and that are our emotions are our superpower as women. that's what literally, like, can shift a man's desires. He can it can help him step into his masculine. Like if we just tell them our feelings, if we're sad, they want to fix it.

00;13;42;25 - 00;13;44;00 McKenna Right.

00;13;44;03 - 00;13;44;22 Seth I'm not sure how I.

00;13;44;25 - 00;13;59;16 McKenna Feel about this, actually. I'll explain. I'll talk about this later. Okay? A little devil's in the secret to getting a man to be a man. Awesome. Yeah, I we haven't even gotten to the intro yet. Guys.

00;13;59;19 - 00;14;20;24 Seth This is the intro. Hello? Hello. Welcome. This is how we do it. We just throw. We just throw you the meat. We talked about intuitive motherhood. Pardon me. Holistic motherhood. Because that that is something that is part of your your fabric. Right. Who you are your your suit, your superpowers. Intuitive art. Yeah. You're an intuitive artist. Healing mind, body and soul after infant loss.

00;14;20;24 - 00;14;28;15 Seth Yes, I'm sure we'll talk a little about that. Yes, you are sour dough superwoman. Yeah, according to Stephanie, this is delicious.

00;14;28;15 - 00;14;29;13 McKenna Yes.

00;14;29;15 - 00;14;33;18 Seth I'm going to withhold my judgment until I actually get the goods to test it.

00;14;33;20 - 00;14;35;23 McKenna All right. Okay.

00;14;35;26 - 00;14;42;28 Seth Do you do do you make multiple because Steph had some of your sour dough? Do you do like, like a jalapeno cheddar?

00;14;42;28 - 00;14;44;23 McKenna Kind of a no I'm basic.

00;14;44;27 - 00;14;45;12 Seth Okay.

00;14;45;12 - 00;15;15;02 McKenna I'm really basic. I soon hit wonder in the sourdough. You were here. Yeah, I went, I went down the sour dough train like seven years ago before it became trendy. All right. So 2020 is like, what pushed sour dough into the forefront. But I, I started fermenting foods. Like when my second daughter was born, we were living in a house and it was convenient and it was like, hey, I'm going to learn how to do, water kefir and milk Keefer and sourdough.

00;15;15;07 - 00;15;21;00 McKenna And I literally fermented everything under the sun, right. Like going back to traditional roots. It's like.

00;15;21;01 - 00;15;21;15 Seth How.

00;15;21;18 - 00;15;49;22 McKenna How did we do it? How did we do it before we did it? So that's that's what I started down. And then I kind of settled on my method with my sour dough. And then we moved into an RV. So I was like, yeah, my experimenting kind of got a little bit stifled. So I think once I'm in my own house and can get creative again in the food world, then I had adventure to some other options.

00;15;49;25 - 00;15;50;13 McKenna

00;15;50;15 - 00;15;54;05 Seth Why did sour dough explode in 2020? Was it Covid?

00;15;54;08 - 00;15;55;00 McKenna Yeah, Covid.

00;15;55;00 - 00;15;55;23 Seth Everybody's home.

00;15;55;23 - 00;16;20;01 McKenna I think people were like, well, I don't know. Bread seemed really readily available on the shelves. Or I guess most things went out of stock. Right. So you have to learn how to use your resources. So people probably to some degree had some amount of food storage and some amount of like maybe wheat grinding or whatever. So it was like, okay, well, how do I actually make bread?

00;16;20;03 - 00;16;30;09 McKenna And that became like some push to really learn how to utilize the resources that we had. So I don't I don't know if bread was off the shelves, I don't remember.

00;16;30;13 - 00;16;39;16 Stephanie Yeah, I don't know that it was. But I also wonder if it's because a lot more people started looking into natural approaches to strengthen their immune system or gut health. Their body.

00;16;39;16 - 00;17;03;24 McKenna Yeah, I think a lot of people like it. It was pick a side, pick a side, right. Like anyone this in which way am I going? Am I going vaccine route. Am I going holistic now? You know, we kind of it was, I think, the catalyst for many, many people and in the world specifically to decide like, what's what, what's camp am I in.

00;17;04;00 - 00;17;05;19 McKenna Totally. All right.

00;17;05;22 - 00;17;10;25 Seth What what calls to me. Right. Like, what do we need? We're home.

00;17;11;03 - 00;17;11;16 McKenna Yeah.

00;17;11;16 - 00;17;19;27 Seth We got concerned about our finances, you know, because maybe we're working. Maybe we're not working. Yeah, if you are working your entire work and things.

00;17;19;28 - 00;17;20;14 McKenna Are shifting.

00;17;20;14 - 00;17;22;08 Seth Everything's shifting right?

00;17;22;11 - 00;17;44;23 McKenna Yeah, yeah, it was kind of a spiritual uplift, up leveling. And I think a lot of people awoke to what the corruption was, what was happening in the corruption world. Right. So that's where like, people turned a little more like, I think I'm going to lean holistically on this one. But, you know, in the holistic world, there is still a lot of upheaval too.

00;17;44;24 - 00;17;51;24 McKenna So yeah, interesting times. Yeah. Don't want to go back for sure. Yeah.

00;17;51;26 - 00;18;00;12 Seth Well, I'll give you my opinion on the salad when I actually get to taste it. But for now, with Stephanie Stamp of approval, you do have the sour dough superwoman.

00;18;00;15 - 00;18;00;21 McKenna Oh.

00;18;00;21 - 00;18;10;00 Stephanie Believe that. So the two loaves she brought were gone in minutes. Like she came over to get some and she's like, oh, you guys okay? We should get the I don't know, this one is.

00;18;10;02 - 00;18;10;24 McKenna This is the.

00;18;10;27 - 00;18;13;12 Stephanie Second one. She's like, oh, perfect.

00;18;13;15 - 00;18;13;29 McKenna Perfect.

00;18;13;29 - 00;18;16;07 Stephanie She was excited. Like, oh good. Everybody loved.

00;18;16;07 - 00;18;22;19 McKenna Us. Yeah. it's it's good. It's gone in our house instantaneously too. So I.

00;18;22;19 - 00;18;27;28 Stephanie Can imagine maybe that's partly why I haven't learned yet, is because I know it'll be a lot of work and it'll be gone in.

00;18;27;28 - 00;18;28;25 McKenna Seconds, and.

00;18;28;28 - 00;18;29;27 Seth It'll be a constant.

00;18;29;29 - 00;18;37;27 McKenna Constant. Mom, mom. More and more. Yeah, I oh, I have some on the counter right now. I've completely forgot.

00;18;37;29 - 00;18;46;26 Stephanie So you do a lot of work with emotional release, right. so what does that look like for those that aren't sure or want to learn more?

00;18;47;02 - 00;19;16;09 McKenna Well, I guess I should give some context to what so healing journey, right? So it started with the birth thing. I became like slightly more intuitive with each birth and my third daughter, we were RV, I was pregnant with my third and I really felt prompted to birth unassisted. So we were on the road. I never saw a doctor at all during my whole entire pregnancy.

00;19;16;11 - 00;19;37;27 McKenna Midwife, any any sort of person. I would go to Walmart and get my blood pressure taken. Are we? I think we ended up buying a blood pressure cuff, and I would do my own stuff and have my own, like, strips to ponder, test my ketones and all that. And I just took everything into my own hands because we were traveling.

00;19;37;27 - 00;20;12;28 McKenna But also, I just felt like it was part of this journey with this particular child. And so I ended up birthing completely unassisted. Had no one but my husband there, my mid husband and my children. And it was what that exactly that birth needed, but also the transformation that I needed to step into my intuition. So she was born in January of 2020 and we named her Madeline Claire.

00;20;12;28 - 00;20;37;12 McKenna We named her after my brother or my husband's stillborn sister. so we just felt very impressed that her and this sister had a very divine connection and it took us a month to actually name her. We named her like she was. We called her baby for the entire month while we were like back and forth on names.

00;20;37;12 - 00;21;06;21 McKenna And so we ended up naming her a month later, and I felt like really comfortable with naming her Madeline. After her stillborn sister because she had lived, you know, like, there's kind of these hesitations sometimes like, oh, is it bad? Like bad. We would do this, you know, like, yeah. So anyway, we named her that and it was like kind of this healing moment for, for our family and for this fills my husband's family.

00;21;06;24 - 00;21;33;04 McKenna So come end of 2020, we, we can't we were living in Florida. We came to Utah for, Christmas, but also for my grandma's funeral. She had passed away at the end of 2020. I think the she had been wanting to die for all these years. Right. She was hitting the end of her life. My grandfather had passed away quite a few years ago and she was just ready.

00;21;33;06 - 00;21;57;22 McKenna But I think 2020 just was like that loneliness factor. The last time I saw her, it was through a window. Like, it just was like that moment of like, I think she was just completely ready to go. We all came to Utah to for Christmas and whatnot, and we came, visited, and then we visited family in Idaho, and then we came back down and we're staying with family.

00;21;57;24 - 00;22;22;09 McKenna And Claire, our daughter passed away in a sleeping accident, over that time of spending time with family. And it was the most shocking, crappy, horrible thing any parent could ever imagine, right? It's what everyone says when I tell them I've lost a child. Everyone says, I can't even imagine.

00;22;22;12 - 00;22;23;28 Seth And how old was she?

00;22;24;00 - 00;22;49;11 McKenna She was 11 months old. So she was born in January and she passed away in December. So she wasn't even a year every time. Like I couldn't even imagine it. Right. We're in this situation, this this shocking event happens and I'm in it. And, you know, I can't even imagine that because you you kind of go through that shock of that complete body spirit disconnect.

00;22;49;13 - 00;23;23;10 McKenna And that's like a literal thing. Your body literally detaches, your spirit literally detaches from your body and like it takes a while to like, reintegrate. But, so that pushed me down this emotional rabbit hole, right? So I had done all the physical healing I had gone through learning about minerals. I learned about fermenting foods. I learned about all these different holistic herbs, homeopathy, like all the things that you learn about when you go down holistic rabbit holes, right?

00;23;23;10 - 00;23;45;10 McKenna Yeah. And it wasn't until I, I mean, I was kind of starting down the energy, spiritual healing at the kind of precipice of Claire's death. But it was like that's when it was like, I actually need to learn how to implement all of these modalities that I've been learning.

00;23;45;12 - 00;23;46;08 Seth Emotionally.

00;23;46;14 - 00;24;14;01 McKenna Emotional healing, physical healing, everything because it takes your body for a trip, right? So you're going through grief, you're adrenals are burnt out, you are in shock, but you also go through like grief lasts forever. Like I'm never going to live without grief. Like I will have to grow around grief, but it will always be a part of me because we are physically detached, right?

00;24;14;03 - 00;24;44;17 McKenna So I have to learn how to live around my grief waves and around triggers and all of these things that you're never really. I mean, a lot of us are. A lot of us have trauma of some kind, right? And it doesn't matter how simple it is or how small like it is. Trauma is trauma, like being bullied in school or, you know, these are those things that kind of get stuck with us and they stay in our bodies like any unprocessed emotion.

00;24;44;19 - 00;25;09;17 McKenna If you've read The Body Keeps the Score, it talks about that, like how our body will literally hold that memory and it, it will manifest in other physical ways. So literally this last week I did emotional healing relating to my skin because my skin literally was nuts after I lost Claire. Like it just completely. It wasn't even a breakout.

00;25;09;17 - 00;25;37;02 McKenna It was just like rash Rashi everything. It would come in waves, but a lot of the waves of when it would break out. We're on like Claire's death date or Claire's birth date or, you know, different things that were really showing that it was manifesting as an emotional thing. So I'm just really obsessed with understanding because like in, in the modern medical world, like we look at symptoms, right?

00;25;37;02 - 00;26;01;29 McKenna We get those symptoms and we're like, okay, what what things do I need to take or what medications do I need? But in the spiritual world, it's like, okay, your symptom is the signal. And you look instead of looking for like the physical route, you look for the spiritual route. And so for me, the spiritual route was, for my face healing was I can't fake it anymore.

00;26;02;01 - 00;26;18;24 McKenna I have to I can't put on a pretty face. Like my face is literally indicating that I need to ask for help. And I am not asking for help. I'm not vocalizing my needs. And that's when my skin's like, okay, I'll vocalize.

00;26;18;25 - 00;26;19;18 Seth Let me help you out.

00;26;19;18 - 00;26;38;25 McKenna Let me help you, because that's the catalyst for me. I'm like, my face is important to me. That's I gotta do something. I gotta show up in podcast and social media and. Right. And I'm like, I can't do that when I feel embarrassed about showing who I am. So my face is like, yeah, because you need help and you're not asking for it.

00;26;38;25 - 00;27;03;04 McKenna So once, once, my conscious mind acknowledged that, then my subconscious mind was like, okay, I'm going to stop sending that signal to you. So all those things are related. So that's I don't know. So going through grief, all of those things is what set me on the hey, I've got to learn how to deal with emotions like they they're huge.

00;27;03;04 - 00;27;22;17 McKenna Like they govern so much of our lives. And when we don't deal with them, our body deals with them. And so it shows up as pain. It shows up as disease, it shows up as you know, even a broken arm can be related to, you know, a call for help, right?

00;27;22;20 - 00;27;25;05 Stephanie So or a sore shoulder.

00;27;25;07 - 00;27;28;02 McKenna Or a shoulder. Yes. Yes.

00;27;28;04 - 00;27;29;04 Seth I'm starting to look at this.

00;27;29;04 - 00;27;33;04 McKenna Taking on. You're taking on too much. You're taking on too much.

00;27;33;07 - 00;27;36;13 Seth Don't tell. Do you know how many people are telling me that?

00;27;36;15 - 00;27;40;24 McKenna Why aren't you listening to your body is telling you that?

00;27;40;26 - 00;27;59;04 Seth My dad told me that recently. Physically. Physically, he's like, hey, you know, I mean, my dad's like Superman. Yeah, right. And, but he's had his battles with cancer, and I thought we were going to lose him, you know, recently. Yeah. in post-treatment, everything's done.

00;27;59;07 - 00;27;59;14 McKenna Yeah.

00;27;59;16 - 00;28;00;28 Seth Let's just say one more thing. Yeah.

00;28;01;01 - 00;28;01;11 McKenna Let's go.

00;28;01;12 - 00;28;10;28 Seth One more thing and then in two weeks. And I don't know the dates because still trying to piece it all together. But I saw him age. It was like he aged 20 years and.

00;28;10;29 - 00;28;14;22 McKenna Oh, well, you can't poison the body, the health. Hello.

00;28;14;24 - 00;28;21;14 Seth But he told me you got to. Yeah. Just just so you know, because I'm still, you know, I'm still running hard.

00;28;21;19 - 00;28;22;28 McKenna Yes.

00;28;23;01 - 00;28;31;03 Seth Like you're 20, you know, I'll meet you on the basketball court. I'm. I'll be 50 this year. Yeah. You're 21. All right, game on. Get it on. Right. Can we go.

00;28;31;03 - 00;28;32;09 McKenna Totally out, you know.

00;28;32;09 - 00;28;51;01 Seth And he's like, hey, Seth, you might just want to consider, you know, just like slowing down. I think actually the shoulder came through. You know, I don't play as much football. It's not as frequent. So yeah, you don't necessarily move your body in that way all the time. And yeah. Quarterback. And it just been lingering but growing and growing and growing.

00;28;51;01 - 00;28;59;10 Seth And this is six months ago. But I hadn't really thought you know my dad said hey you might want to slow down. But yeah right.

00;28;59;12 - 00;29;08;20 McKenna I bet if you have minerals in place then you'll be fine. Okay. You can you can get going, but you got a clear whatever. You can ask if it's emotional.

00;29;08;22 - 00;29;15;13 Seth I. Yeah, I'll cut the time. Cut the friction. Is it. Yeah. Just to be aware. Yeah, yeah I'm cool with that. I'm listening.

00;29;15;17 - 00;29;37;01 McKenna Okay. Yeah. Yep. I, I had shoulder pain that because like, I sleep with my daughter and I nurse her and so like I'm always like, oh, it's just because I slept wrong. Right. It's oh it's just because I slept wrong. But it just got to this point where it was so painful, like I can't ignore it anymore. And I was like, all right, maybe I'll go.

00;29;37;04 - 00;30;03;03 McKenna I was already seeing a energy worker right. spiritual healer, intuitive healer. Right. There's many names for kind of the same thing, but basically she just taps into my spirit. And because the spiritual plane is all one, right? We're all connected in the spiritual realm, and we all can access through the spirit. It's through the spirit that we can communicate.

00;30;03;06 - 00;30;31;07 McKenna There's a scripture, and I don't know if this is a religious podcast, but in my religion there's a scripture that talks about, what is it? And I can't remember. I used it in Claire's passing. It was like the scripture that came to the forefront, and we used it in her funeral, and we talked about it because it was like this light bulb for us that what is it, angels speak by the power of the Holy Ghost.

00;30;31;09 - 00;30;59;19 McKenna Yeah. And the Holy Ghost will tell you the truth of all things. And that kind of I'm paraphrasing, but that is angels speak by the power of the Holy Ghost. So when we have the Holy Ghost or the spirit or the light of Christ, it is literally an energy field that we can access to gain spiritual insight. So when an energy healer comes and they can basically talk to my spirit because I never looked at my spirit as a separate entity, right.

00;30;59;19 - 00;31;21;19 McKenna But sometimes when you do that, you're like, oh yeah, my spirit is a lot older than my physical body. Yeah. And it has a lot of knowledge. And hey, maybe I should ask my spirit or God and God in connection with my spirit, right, for answers. So when a spiritual healer will come, they will ask my spirit what's going on?

00;31;21;22 - 00;31;47;12 McKenna What's going on with that shoulder? Why? What's happening? And so she connected to my spirit and just it was like, yeah, this is a spiritual thing. This is something going on. And literally the next day we cleared it. Like basically it's utilizing the atonement, the atonement is instantaneous. It can heal like Christ healed on an instant. Right. And when you access, it's kind of like repentance.

00;31;47;12 - 00;32;05;03 McKenna You kind of need to have that acknowledgment first. and then it's you're able to repent, right? It's the same pattern with healing. You just need to acknowledge your your conscious mind needs to acknowledge it so you can be aware and that so you can hand it over.

00;32;05;03 - 00;32;06;17 Seth Because it becomes a decision and a choice.

00;32;06;17 - 00;32;17;27 McKenna It becomes an agency thing. Yeah. And so you're able to use your agency to then hand it over. And if your body and your mind and your heart is ready, then that's when healing can come in.

00;32;17;29 - 00;32;19;00 Seth Emotional release.

00;32;19;00 - 00;32;42;00 McKenna Exactly. So that is that is the crutch of emotional release is acknowledgment and letting it go and then letting light a lot of people in the spiritual world, there's different terminology. But when you for me, I combine it with my religious terminology and it just gives it more strength because that's, you know, it. It aligns with my beliefs.

00;32;42;06 - 00;33;01;09 McKenna And I think a lot of people, you know, there's kind of this dichotomy of like, oh, religion spirit. I'm like, it's right. You got to gather it can be married. It's okay. And, people go on their own journeys. Some people who are in the spiritual world convert to Christianity or convert it and they're like, oh, it's all demonic.

00;33;01;09 - 00;33;01;29 McKenna And I'm like, no.

00;33;01;29 - 00;33;02;26 Seth It's all pagan.

00;33;02;26 - 00;33;21;13 McKenna It's all yeah. When in reality it's just different verbiage. We're all talking different words for the same thing. But I, I accredited it to God, I accredited to him and his higher power because he is the source in my vision, in my life. So absolutely.

00;33;21;15 - 00;33;32;21 Seth When we a lot of times we will take religion and make it almost one dimensional. Yeah, right. Yeah. Because we read from one dimensional pages. Yeah. Right. At the same time. Well, I guess they're not.

00;33;32;23 - 00;33;33;18 McKenna Two dimensional.

00;33;33;18 - 00;33;51;20 Seth But you know what I'm saying? We're looking at a flat. We're looking at it flat 2D. It's it's this, it's in this box. And belief, spirituality, spiritual intimacy, right with God, with the creator. None of that is two dimensional. Is none of that is solely two dimensional.

00;33;51;20 - 00;33;51;28 McKenna No.

00;33;51;29 - 00;33;52;05 Seth Right.

00;33;52;05 - 00;33;54;15 McKenna It is 512 dimensional.

00;33;54;16 - 00;33;57;29 Seth It is infinite. It's infinite. Right. And so I think it's really.

00;33;58;05 - 00;34;23;22 McKenna Crosses the planes. Yeah. Dimensions. Yeah, yeah. And that's where for me emotions come in, emotions become our superpower as we learn that they are literally our connection to our to our higher power and to our God and our creator. He gave us. That's how the spirit works, right? It moves you. It inspires you like there's all these different facets of your body that it can communicate with.

00;34;23;22 - 00;34;45;26 McKenna So you can communicate by that spiritual healing or that you know that vision in your mind or those dreams, like there's so many ways that it can communicate. And I think we kind of get stuck on the, oh, just the burning in the bosom or, you know, those happy feelings. But it's like there's many ways that the spirit communicates.

00;34;45;29 - 00;34;58;08 McKenna And that's that's through our emotions, right? It's through sensations in our body. And that's what emotions are. They are sensations in our body. Absolutely. So.

00;34;58;11 - 00;35;03;09 Seth I'm gonna I'm going to go back because I've been dying to ask this, but I didn't want to interrupt the pattern.

00;35;03;09 - 00;35;05;20 McKenna Okay. You're good.

00;35;05;22 - 00;35;38;02 Seth Right at the beginning, you talked about about women and their powers and motherhood and opportunity and responsibility that women have to fully become themselves. not limited by our current social constructs. Yeah. Or or, you know, our our current medical construct. It is current. Yeah. Like, we I don't really think about it sometimes that women been doing this birthing thing for a long time.

00;35;38;04 - 00;36;02;03 Seth Right. and so, you know, as you're saying this, I'm just my, my, my little heart's just like, you know, jumping up or down, because that's what Stephanie and I do in our mainline business. It's all about. You're the CEO of your mind. Yes. Your health. Yeah, right. Your finances and and spirituality and your spiritual. You are the CEO and everybody else honestly, is is an advisor, right.

00;36;02;05 - 00;36;28;04 Seth so I'm all about that. And love talking about home birth. Right. And I think I can literally just see in my mind's eye women listening to this podcast and saying, like this being permission saying, okay, I've been thinking this, I've been feeling this. I've been being drawn to really stepping in and unapologetically. Yeah, living that CEO life.

00;36;28;06 - 00;36;32;03 Seth Yeah, right. Taking those responsibilities, making those choices, learning.

00;36;32;05 - 00;36;34;12 McKenna Yeah.

00;36;34;15 - 00;36;54;25 Seth And you know, that's this lady right here. She's doing all of those things, you know, and being courageous and doing home births. And then you just took it to a whole nother level when you're like, we're gonna do this unassisted. And I and I can literally hear, I can literally see people like, whoa, yeah. Like, there is there's this fear.

00;36;54;27 - 00;36;56;10 McKenna Fear. Yeah.

00;36;56;12 - 00;37;16;12 Seth And and most of it, honestly, is is based on how we've, you know, our current constructs, which is the medical community will save us. And I think even great health care practitioners, of whom there are so many. Right. And we meet with them when we work with them, and they're here on this on the show as well.

00;37;16;14 - 00;37;33;29 Seth Yeah. It's a part of the story. Yeah. Right. Can you, can you speak to that fear? What what do women need to do? How do they need to approach this or how can they? I'm not going to tell one what she needs to do. That's a lesson, man. Like I, I caught myself.

00;37;34;01 - 00;37;35;23 McKenna All right.

00;37;35;25 - 00;37;46;08 Seth But I could I just know that there's going to be fear about, you know, depending on where you are in the journey. Steph's like, hey, listen, I had this Spinal Tap and that sucked, right? And now I'm totally over.

00;37;46;14 - 00;37;47;20 Stephanie The spinal tap. But yeah.

00;37;47;21 - 00;37;48;26 Seth Okay. Sorry.

00;37;48;26 - 00;37;50;14 McKenna What epidural.

00;37;50;16 - 00;37;51;08 Seth Well, it was.

00;37;51;08 - 00;37;57;26 Stephanie A the anesthesiologist used a needle and punctured a hole through my spinal cord. And so I had a spinal headache because.

00;37;57;29 - 00;37;58;15 McKenna That's.

00;37;58;17 - 00;38;00;29 Stephanie What got to my brain. And yes. So yes.

00;38;00;29 - 00;38;22;08 McKenna I've heard that happens and often it's bad. Yeah. So I think first off it's literally identifying that it's fear. Because once you can identify it and you know the the source of fear is not God, right? Fear does not come from God. That's not one of his, you know, regulating super.

00;38;22;11 - 00;38;23;07 Seth He doesn't have that button.

00;38;23;07 - 00;38;54;20 McKenna Emotions, right? Yeah. He's not giving us the spirit of fear. And so when you acknowledge it first you're like, oh, you can basically call out what it is and what it isn't. And so for me, and you have to do it many times. Right? So I in preparation for my daughter Claire's birth, like I met with a midwife at the very end because I had my in-laws who were offering to pay like it was very kind of them to offer to pay for a midwife, right?

00;38;54;20 - 00;39;15;24 McKenna Because a lot of the reason we were, oh, we should do, we were compelled to do it was because financial reasons. Right. That was part of like, I don't want to pay for a midwife, especially in Florida. They're like double the cost of what we paid in Utah. So and with that, so all of Claire's birth sorry there's so much dirt in here.

00;39;15;24 - 00;39;41;24 McKenna Right. So it goes along with what we're saying. So Claire's birth was like, I, my in-laws came in offering, but for me, I could feel in my body that fear that it was it was stemming from fear that they wanted us to get a midwife. It was a kind offer, but it was also like I could feel that like, like it just felt fearful, right?

00;39;41;26 - 00;39;45;28 Seth Yeah. Well, it's so unknown. It's so unconventional. Yes. It's it's it's.

00;39;45;29 - 00;39;46;26 McKenna Very what is.

00;39;46;26 - 00;39;51;03 Seth It response like, you know, how can you do that. Like, are you being irresponsible.

00;39;51;03 - 00;39;51;13 McKenna Yeah.

00;39;51;13 - 00;39;58;27 Seth For your baby. Right. I mean, all those things I know we're going through, you're in potentially. Yeah. You know, the people who surround you and in even yourself.

00;39;58;27 - 00;40;24;00 McKenna Yeah, even my own. Like, there were many times I had to up nip that fear in the bud because I had done two births before and my first birthday hemorrhaged. And so I ended up. I had herbal tinctures, but then ended up needing pitocin. Right. So there was a reason. There could be many reasons that I could remain fearful about the birth because it's like, well, I've experienced this before, right?

00;40;24;02 - 00;40;44;23 McKenna Or I needed stitches or whatever. And it was like, okay, so I go in and I address all of these fears. I look at them in the face, I say, okay, this is a potential thing that could go wrong. But I also include the spirit of like, teach me things that I might not already know or have experienced of what could go wrong.

00;40;44;23 - 00;41;07;15 McKenna And what do you need me to do in that situation? So my husband and I, we watched videos about how to do infant resuscitation because that felt really important and just things like that, but also just casting out fear. A lot of it was just because fear for me and my first birth was the catalyst for what had me retain my placenta.

00;41;07;20 - 00;41;16;26 McKenna That gave me my hemorrhage. It was the root cause of my emotional outcome and the physical.

00;41;17;02 - 00;41;17;13 Seth Physical.

00;41;17;14 - 00;41;42;12 McKenna And the physical outcome in the birth. Because I was holding on to fear, I was holding on to expectations. I was holding on to performing for other people, performing for the midwives, because I don't think we take that into account very often, that other people's energy in our space really affects how we perform.

00;41;42;15 - 00;41;47;18 Stephanie Well, just like when you were talking about how, you know, when women live together and they have periods and they say.

00;41;47;18 - 00;41;48;06 McKenna Yes, it's.

00;41;48;06 - 00;41;49;14 Stephanie Kind of along the same lines.

00;41;49;14 - 00;42;12;19 McKenna Exactly. And so when someone comes into a birth space and they're carrying that fear, it can affect you or you. So for me, in my first birth, my family, they had all they had all done hospital births. They'd almost all of them had C-sections except for one birth. So there was that like underlying like, what are you doing?

00;42;12;21 - 00;42;35;14 McKenna Like, everyone else needed this intervention, right? They needed the C-section. And so it was like, you know, this could have could not have been more opposite. And so I had to kind of break the mold and be a pioneer in my family and do something very unconventional. And so of course, that's going to carry on into my birth.

00;42;35;14 - 00;43;01;04 McKenna And so that's that was a huge lesson for me. Like I am grateful that I experienced kind of that medical crisis and knew that it could be taken care of like that. May midwives were competent. I think first I just had to develop a testimony of midwifery to begin with and birth itself. But like, hey, my midwives stepped in, they took care of it, I was great, I was fine, like nothing happened.

00;43;01;06 - 00;43;23;02 McKenna And you know, in the case I needed to I had the hospital as a backup plan. But as time went on and as I gained more trust in my body, and as I gained more trust in my intuitive abilities, that fear goes away like that fear dissipates. And then my body is no longer in a fight or flight state like you.

00;43;23;05 - 00;43;48;11 McKenna That that is so huge in birth is being I'm in fight or flight because I'm scared. That's what happens. Your body is protecting you and but that it makes it harder to birth in that state. And so dissipating fear is like the biggest thing, like in my fourth birth. And she flew right out of me. And she was also in a that's called delivery.

00;43;48;14 - 00;43;52;01 Stephanie Kind of like ours that was unassisted, unintentionally, but unassisted.

00;43;52;03 - 00;44;15;13 McKenna Yeah. So the birth I had, that was my rainbow baby after Claire, she was born nine months to the day after Claire passed away, and she was born in the same RV and at the same location that Claire passed. And it was kind of this, like full circle moment and born in the same way. And it was I had no fear.

00;44;15;16 - 00;44;38;10 McKenna I mean, part of it was also emotional disconnect because I was in full grief. Right? Like and so I was just like, whatever. I'm just trusting that it's supposed to happen the way it will. And she literally came out before any of my friends who I had invited to come photograph the birth or be assistance my sister. I invited my sister because she still hasn't been to any of my births.

00;44;38;12 - 00;45;14;04 McKenna She misses it every time and I. I had no fear. Like it just was like, I trust that even though I had lost an infant and maybe it wasn't an infant in birth, but I still had a lot of fear. Like, what if this baby dies? you know, that's those are huge fears. And through grief and through loss, like the journey of loss, you have to reconcile that there is a time to be born, and then there is a time to die.

00;45;14;07 - 00;45;37;22 McKenna And that is designated. And that that kind of set me on my astrology journey and all those things. Because when you're born actually really does matter. And it it sets the timeline for your life and it's shown in the stars, but it's just a side note. So that's one of my many tangents. So my many facets of learning.

00;45;37;22 - 00;46;03;10 McKenna But anyway, so that was what I had to reconcile was very much like, like if this baby is meant to be born when it's born and where it's born and how it's born, like I had no plan. Besides, like a week before, I was like, I think we're going to do it in the RV. So we spent a week cleaning out the RV that was very like we had.

00;46;03;12 - 00;46;23;10 McKenna We brought it back from Florida. We hadn't gone back to it. We we didn't. We just had it and then go back into it until we were preparing for the birth. And that was kind of that was part of my healing, too. I had to cry and sob that this was where my my 11 month old spent her entire life.

00;46;23;12 - 00;46;56;19 McKenna And we still have it for emotional reasons. Right now, we're not ready to let the RV go, even though we literally can't afford it. But it's just, you know, there's phases that you give things that you're ready to let go of. But yeah, so it just became this full circle thing and affirmed that I can do this and I can reconnect with my body because I definitely completely detached, like grief definitely does that to where you're like, I do not want to live here anymore.

00;46;56;21 - 00;47;16;21 McKenna Like, why do I have to stay in this physical plane when it it can change in an instant, like my daughter was just one day to the next just gone. And like how easy it was for death to happen. Because like we saw my grandma who was, like, literally begging to die. Yeah. Like just can can I just go?

00;47;16;21 - 00;47;30;01 McKenna Can I just be done? Right? And then my daughter, who had a whole life ahead of her and it was just gone and it's like, okay, well here, here you have to reconcile that. So.

00;47;30;04 - 00;47;41;06 Stephanie just stepping back from, when you're talking about fear and birth, and that was something that I read, you know, Mae Gaskins work, and, she's one of the pioneer midwives.

00;47;41;06 - 00;47;41;25 McKenna Yep.

00;47;41;25 - 00;47;58;27 Stephanie And I was given that by my midwife. Yes. And I'm so grateful I learned so much in that book. Yeah. you know how she talks about how, people either being in the room or your own fear or something going on to where you can actually dilate and then close back up. Yep. Like, that's how powerful it is.

00;47;58;28 - 00;48;27;25 McKenna Yep. The mind, the mind and the spirit, like, can be so powerful. And what we think and what we imagine like there's that's why I have gnosis works like just visualizing visualizations help you to open up help you to relax like the mind is so powerful. Like there's a man named doctor. What's his name? Joe Dispenza. He's huge in, like, the spiritual world, right?

00;48;27;28 - 00;48;50;08 McKenna He talks about the mind body connection a lot and how I like. If you use visualizations and meditations to basically create your world, like that's creating, you're creating in the fourth dimension and you're trying to bring it down to the two dimensional world, three dimensional world, right? That's why I work. I mean, I work with art because you're working in the two dimensional world, but you're using the fourth dimension.

00;48;50;08 - 00;49;01;29 McKenna It's kind of these bridges of dimensions where are you pulling it in? And that's what birth is to me. It's that I'm creating something in the 3D world.

00;49;02;02 - 00;49;06;28 Seth Like, I think so many decisions are made because of fear.

00;49;06;28 - 00;49;07;26 McKenna Absolutely.

00;49;07;29 - 00;49;13;14 Seth Right. And I don't want to say that, that women have it more than men because I don't know.

00;49;13;15 - 00;49;33;02 McKenna No it's our experiences are different but it's all the same. It's just coming from different things right. Yep. Men their fear is can I provide for family. Can I take care of my family? Can I protect them? Can I keep them safe? And then for women, it's, you know, it's just a different facet.

00;49;33;05 - 00;49;50;29 Stephanie Something that I love. And that also helps connect me to you was sound baths. Yeah. So the first thing that I want to ask, well, actually, go back. So when, when I found out you were doing sound baths and I had been to some previously, I was so excited. I'm like, yes, this is how I can connect with my guest.

00;49;51;02 - 00;49;53;00 Stephanie And, like, thank you, God.

00;49;53;03 - 00;49;55;27 McKenna Okay. I've read. Yes.

00;49;55;29 - 00;50;06;17 Stephanie and I love sound baths. I think they're absolutely incredible. And so when I started asking my friends, inviting others to come with me, the biggest thing that I got asked was, that sounds amazing, but what is the sound? Baths.

00;50;06;17 - 00;50;06;29 McKenna Yeah.

00;50;06;29 - 00;50;07;16 Stephanie So can you.

00;50;07;16 - 00;50;07;28 McKenna Explain.

00;50;07;28 - 00;50;11;00 Seth That they want to go, but they don't know what it is? Yeah, I know.

00;50;11;02 - 00;50;35;08 McKenna And even for me, like I, I first experience a sound bath when my friend Attica she's, she's a writer and author and she started doing sound bites. She does money manifestation regression. It'll be her next. But she started doing sound baths and I was like, oh, cool. Like when you are in grief, when you are in like a huge emotional trial, like you will seek anything, right?

00;50;35;08 - 00;51;02;16 McKenna You will seek any way to give yourself relief from this overpowering emotion. And and so I started going to her sound best to like, okay, like I'm curious about this. Like the thing that that kind of sold me. She, she had shared a few reels about what sound is and, you know, it's like, okay, like frequency. I had been studying about frequency and energy and it's like, okay.

00;51;02;18 - 00;51;27;14 McKenna And sound is just another facet of that, right? So any sound emits a frequency. And the the thing that got me was there was this video of someone doing a sound bath and the vibrations, and they had water inside the bowl, and the vibrations were just strumming through that water. And our body is made of water, right? Mostly water.

00;51;27;14 - 00;51;58;29 McKenna And so water or sound actually penetrates five times more effectively through water. And so our body being made of water, those vibrations literally penetrate every cell in your body. And it raises you to a higher vibration. And what is vibration? You know, when we think of on the molecular level, atoms are always vibrating, right? They're not stationary. This solid table, this is like one of the first lessons you learn when you go to elementary school, right?

00;51;58;29 - 00;52;04;26 McKenna Science like this solid table is not actually solid. And everything around us is made of mostly.

00;52;04;26 - 00;52;06;03 Seth Space moving parts.

00;52;06;05 - 00;52;21;21 McKenna Right? It's empty space. So when you condense it down like we would be tiny, tiny. And so what fills that space? Water, energy. Oh right. That's right. That's water.

00;52;21;24 - 00;52;23;06 Seth It's like to take.

00;52;23;06 - 00;52;29;19 McKenna To like take to. Well it fills that space energy. Yes.

00;52;29;21 - 00;52;32;25 Seth We're keeping it all in. We're going to edit that out.

00;52;32;27 - 00;53;04;22 McKenna I'll quiz you later. So energy or aka spirit. ether the light of Christ. That's all different verbiage for energy, right. Energy is the light of Christ. And so when you emit those higher vibration frequencies, which we kind of live in a low vibrational state like our world, the emfs, the, you know, everything is just kind of like lower vibration.

00;53;04;28 - 00;53;30;21 McKenna And when you're in a lower vibrational state, that's when you're prone to disease. That's when your body cannot stay alkaline, more acidic. There's actually studies. There's many doctors who talk about, they study this, that your body when it's low vibrational, it is low alkaline or low low higher acid. It's higher, higher acidity. Right. And we've connected that to cancer.

00;53;30;21 - 00;53;56;26 McKenna We've connected that to many diseases. So the sound penetrates every cell in the body and it raises you and synchronized you. Because this this is what we talked about pre show before we turn the cameras on. That's why we never do it with this. It's like Joe Rogan does what he does right. So our bodies will it's natural in the world that you synchronize with the world around you.

00;53;56;26 - 00;54;23;15 McKenna So if you are hanging out with low vibrational people who are negative and moody and whatnot, when mom's in a bad mood, everyone else is in a bad mood. That's another version. Clocks will synchronize. The tick will synchronize together when they're close to each other. women on their periods, they will with they live together. They will slowly align their periods together.

00;54;23;15 - 00;54;54;08 McKenna That's all synchronicity. So when you submerge yourself in a sound vibration healing. So basically what we do, we come together, we get comfy, we bring blankets, and we lay down. And I will play the sound for you. And it's it's usually an hour long submersion into sound. And I just play these frequencies and they, you just lay in it and you like, you hear it, but it's also more for your body than it is for yours, for your ears.

00;54;54;10 - 00;55;26;17 McKenna Like it's pretty and it actually can get you into kind of like a trance made it meditative state. Like you can just kind of like really get into it and it just allows you to process. It allows you to kind of those vibrations will just cleanse your body. So there can be detox symptoms afterwards. People with tinnitus have said that they there was a man who came to one of my sound bites who said, I've had tinnitus for a while and someone played me a sound bowl and I like stuck my head in it.

00;55;26;20 - 00;55;49;26 McKenna And the tonight was gone after like a day, like just crazy stuff. It's like. But also tonight is has a spiritual meaning to it's I'll oftentimes it's your angels who are higher frequency like speaking to you. So when you hear that ringing in your ear, it's actually it can it can be associated with your angels. So anyway that's that's what sound bites are.

00;55;49;28 - 00;56;01;20 Seth I'm like I'm sitting it like I'm over here in a sound bath right now. I'm just thinking, are you kidding me? An hour of I'm interrupted just sound rescue beauty and resonance.

00;56;01;20 - 00;56;02;09 McKenna And yeah.

00;56;02;11 - 00;56;05;15 Stephanie A frequently I fall asleep in them because I'm just so at peace.

00;56;05;20 - 00;56;06;21 McKenna So relaxing.

00;56;06;21 - 00;56;07;25 Seth For seven seconds.

00;56;07;25 - 00;56;08;10 Stephanie Yeah you it.

00;56;08;17 - 00;56;13;03 McKenna Yeah you can finally just. And that's when your, your spirit can kind of what.

00;56;13;07 - 00;56;16;09 Stephanie Am I nervous system. It's like it all just relaxes.

00;56;16;09 - 00;56;34;29 McKenna Yes. yeah. And that is just one of the beautiful benefits. And as you continue to do it, like the first time I started doing sound bites, I had this little eczema patch on my hand. And every time I would play, it would get better. And every time I like went a really long time, it would get worse.

00;56;35;02 - 00;57;04;07 McKenna So I'm like, I got to just get rid of this for good. So I started doing it like more frequently and I was like, the body wants to heal itself. But if we aren't providing it with high vibrations or low vibration foods and all the things like we're just going to keep in this disease state, right? So the more submersion you can do in anything, but raises your vibration will literally heal your body.

00;57;04;10 - 00;57;28;13 McKenna So that's processing emotions. That's going to sound best. That's just dealing with the stuff we just want a pill for because we don't want to feel things. that's our culture. We don't want to feel. We don't want to apologize. We don't want to admit that we're wrong. We don't want to repent. We don't want you don't want to take responsibility.

00;57;28;13 - 00;57;29;28 McKenna And that's that's huge.

00;57;29;28 - 00;57;41;17 Seth Like, we don't want to make a decision sometimes. Yeah, I think there there is a there's a, a feeling permeating you know, our society or cultures is.

00;57;41;19 - 00;57;42;19 McKenna Just tell me what to do.

00;57;42;21 - 00;57;49;13 Seth Tell me what to do instead of, you know what we're working on here is let us show you what's possible.

00;57;49;18 - 00;57;50;18 McKenna Yeah.

00;57;50;20 - 00;58;00;11 Seth Let's give you knowledge and light and love and guess what? And some frequency and some. And then you can make your own enlightened decision.

00;58;00;17 - 00;58;01;00 McKenna And it feels.

00;58;01;00 - 00;58;01;20 Stephanie Amazing.

00;58;01;23 - 00;58;02;13 McKenna Yeah, it does.

00;58;02;13 - 00;58;05;20 Stephanie Feel it feels amazing to take responsibility when you make mistakes.

00;58;05;20 - 00;58;06;03 McKenna Yeah.

00;58;06;03 - 00;58;09;10 Stephanie It might be hard to get through that. Yeah. It feels so good.

00;58;09;14 - 00;58;21;06 McKenna Yeah. And you. So your body feels better. Your emotions feel better. Like that weight off your shoulder. The lower back pain. The knee pain.

00;58;21;09 - 00;58;46;18 Seth Did go to the physical therapist, but, a friend of mine, and he was trying to do all kinds of stuff. They all sorts of motion testing and. Yeah, it's like, I don't know, wrong. Like, maybe it could be this. Maybe you have. Maybe your muscle just is a little inflamed here. And that rubbing is like. But I'm like, we we we're pretty extensive, you know, and and we like it felt a little better when we were done.

00;58;46;20 - 00;59;02;24 Seth But 15 minutes later, it was back. 30 minutes later I'm like, oh yeah, just it's just a little tight, right? It's just a little taste. Like a lot of things in life. I mean, like, I still play ball, I still do everything that I was doing except. That didn't feel very good. Yeah, but I mean, like.

00;59;02;28 - 00;59;05;23 McKenna Addressing the emotions that are there some like.

00;59;05;26 - 00;59;06;09 Seth Interesting I.

00;59;06;09 - 00;59;15;11 McKenna Wonder. All right, let's do it. Let's do it. Let's address it. Let's then I want to dig deeper. Oh, let's look deeper.

00;59;15;14 - 00;59;16;02 Seth I'm not going to say.

00;59;16;02 - 00;59;17;07 McKenna No. It's a call to action.

00;59;17;08 - 00;59;19;27 Seth I mean that was we just go.

00;59;19;29 - 00;59;37;07 McKenna What is it that you're taking on? Are you taking on too much? What are you what are you shouldering right now? It's literally like when I talk, we think. We think everything is just metaphorical right now. It's metaphorical and literal.

00;59;37;10 - 00;59;38;10 Seth Just like the scriptures.

00;59;38;10 - 01;00;06;28 McKenna Yes. That's why the scriptures are so powerful is because they are metaphorical, but also literal. When we start to read them literally like it changes your whole world. And so when like, like when Christ, his bowels were filled with mercy, right? He he proves right there in the scriptures that emotions are in the body. And so what are you shouldering?

01;00;07;00 - 01;00;12;09 Seth That's a great question. This is this is probably not like an easy answer.

01;00;12;11 - 01;00;33;29 McKenna No. And it could go deeper. It could go deeper. Like, I'm taking on too much of my work life, but it can also when you want to dig deeper, it goes down to beliefs that you're carrying. So core beliefs carry you carry your emotions. But then it's always it always goes deeper, stems from beliefs, stems from identities.

01;00;34;02 - 01;00;47;26 McKenna Your identities create your beliefs. Like, oh, I am a hard worker. I have to be a hard worker. If I don't work hard, then nothing will result out of my life.

01;00;47;28 - 01;01;06;26 Seth We just hit the vulnerability button and I consider myself actually a reasonably vulnerable guy. Yeah, that's why I'm on the show. Yeah, right. Guys? Men who know, men who know, I just think we're in a major transition in our lives right now.

01;01;06;28 - 01;01;12;22 McKenna Yeah. And you have you feel like you have to do it all? Are you trying to.

01;01;12;25 - 01;01;42;10 Seth I'm certainly trying to. Yeah, like I am. I am like, yeah, we're just in major transitions in so many. Like, it's not just one dimensional. It's not like just one thing. Like you and we've been blessed from a business standpoint, but the. But the market has changed too, And so now we're thinking, okay, how do we how do we go into that next, how do we rebirth ourselves?

01;01;42;10 - 01;01;43;10 McKenna Yeah.

01;01;43;13 - 01;01;49;01 Seth and, and bless more people. And I think I feel an incredible amount of pressure.

01;01;49;03 - 01;01;49;18 McKenna Yeah.

01;01;49;21 - 01;01;55;06 Seth And responsibility.

01;01;55;09 - 01;01;58;12 Seth And I'm a little scared. Honestly.

01;01;58;14 - 01;01;59;10 McKenna Yeah.

01;01;59;13 - 01;02;00;25 Seth That I'm not going to be good enough.

01;02;00;27 - 01;02;28;26 McKenna Yeah. All right. Now visualize that. Just giving it to God. Give that to God. And he can take that burden right now you're carrying the yoke by yourself. You're not sharing that burden with him. And as you do that, as you share that weight, that weight will literally lift off your shoulder. You will not be carrying that anymore.

01;02;28;29 - 01;02;53;09 McKenna Just visualize light truth. Like anything that can fill your body with positive vibration, the atonement will literally just transform your body and help it heal.

01;02;53;11 - 01;02;59;24 Seth I don't think you can hear tears on an audio podcast.

01;02;59;26 - 01;03;08;12 Seth You know, I feel like he's just saying. In a very loving, accepting way. Why? Why are you worried about this?

01;03;08;15 - 01;03;09;22 McKenna

01;03;09;24 - 01;03;21;27 Seth Because we've already had this discussion like, it's. You don't need to worry about it. You don't need to carry. It's. I just feel like it's okay. Like we're good.

01;03;21;29 - 01;03;23;16 McKenna Yeah.

01;03;23;19 - 01;03;51;25 Seth I heard something recently where like, recently last 48 hours, kind of recent. I think it was at my that actually who was, who was talking about. We are so impatient programed for a specific result. That's me right there. I mean, that is 100% me and I've gotten used to it.

01;03;51;28 - 01;03;53;15 McKenna Yeah. You put in the work you get.

01;03;53;15 - 01;04;17;10 Seth Through because we've been very successful. Yeah. Like it works like we have. And and again, we're just at a, at a in a sense. I mean that's why we're on this show. That's why we started this show. Yeah. Because some inspiration. So yeah I guess I can I inspired action. Yeah. And I'm also. Still shouldering the responsibility to make it work.

01;04;17;14 - 01;04;19;02 McKenna

01;04;19;04 - 01;04;22;15 Seth And,

01;04;22;17 - 01;04;42;25 Seth Anyway, I just was saying, like, you're just we're so programed for the specific result, and instead of almost just letting it go, we're a dick. Oh, he he said we're a I am totally addicted. We are addicted to that specific end result. You know, and sometimes maybe too fast.

01;04;42;26 - 01;05;03;03 McKenna Yeah. Right. Yeah. And the result we envision rather than the result that he envisions. Right. And he's got more in store than we can even imagine. and so and I say that from not a belief in myself that's literally spirit talking because I do not because.

01;05;03;03 - 01;05;05;16 Seth You're going through the same thing.

01;05;05;19 - 01;05;19;28 McKenna I'm not there yet. I'm not at that frequency, like, oh, it makes me mad when there's all these like, oh, just raise your vibration and everything will come to you. You'll be magnets, guys. And I'm just like, yeah, nothing's happening yet. Yeah.

01;05;20;05 - 01;05;22;10 Seth And yeah, that's what you're telling me, right?

01;05;22;11 - 01;05;56;00 McKenna Yeah. But truly like in the honestly, in the last week of my life, I have definitely felt a shift. And for me, I'm like, oh, I feel, I feel in a higher vibration. I feel and already things are like coming to me like I just this last month, so I, I host sound bars, I host creator's Club, I host just whatever whim in the lounge and the.

01;05;56;00 - 01;05;56;15 Seth Wind.

01;05;56;15 - 01;05;57;16 McKenna And the wind.

01;05;57;18 - 01;05;58;16 Stephanie It's just that you wait for.

01;05;58;16 - 01;06;28;00 McKenna Breakfast, whatever it is. Well, it's all inspired action, right? But it's in many different areas. but I work with women. I have a group who comes. We meet every Friday. We work on our businesses. We talk about our our stumbling blocks. but then I also do sound bouncing like. No. Earlier last month, February, I had scheduled a sound bath meditation with a breathwork practitioner.

01;06;28;00 - 01;06;45;18 McKenna We were collaborating and we kept putting it out there, kept putting it out there like we're, you know, doing the actions, right? No results. There was like two people who wanted to come, right. You were one of them. And it's just like, this isn't worth our time. This is what I.

01;06;45;19 - 01;06;47;18 Stephanie Was even trying to make it work. Yeah. I'm like, I.

01;06;47;18 - 01;07;05;19 McKenna Want to go. We are kicking against the pricks to make it work right? And I'm like, and I already knew, like, honestly, when I scheduled it, I just was like, I really want to do this. I was like, I don't I don't really feel like it's what people want. I don't know, like, I just, I was feeling resistance, right?

01;07;05;21 - 01;07;23;12 McKenna So maybe it was my own resistance that people weren't being attracted to. Right. So that could that could have been a component. But then once I so I cancel that and I cancel this other one, the kids, one that I was doing that was just like, I'm just not vibe with this. Right? Then I took the action that I like.

01;07;23;12 - 01;07;46;19 McKenna I knew in a for a long time I wanted to do, but I just like, let fear get in the way or just like, let reasons. Right. And I was like, I'm going to do an art night sound bath because I just want to. I'm an artist, I love art, I think maybe other people want it too, but I wasn't basing it on validation of like if my people wanted it, right.

01;07;46;21 - 01;08;13;02 McKenna So I just put it out there and I got 20 women at that event. It was like, see? Like if you just do the thing you really feel inside that you are meant to do and not try to force the ones that are like the sounds good. This is good on paper. I mean, it could have been a good event, we could have still done it and people would have benefited.

01;08;13;04 - 01;08;40;17 McKenna But like my motives were off, like there were just things that weren't in alignment. Right? But once I did the thing that I was like, truly aligned with and truly wanted to do, people came and I learned a lot. Hopefully the people who came learned a lot. There was some tweaks that I would do next time. I'd kind of finish it up a little bit better than we did, but it was amazing and it was connecting and community building and it was just what it needed to be.

01;08;40;17 - 01;09;01;21 McKenna And so in that, in that thread of me saying, I don't believe. like I do, I'm starting to see the witness of that. Right. Like people talk the talk until you actually walk it. And now it's like, okay, like I'm starting to see the evidence of me taking that action.

01;09;01;24 - 01;09;21;11 Stephanie So I feel like, even like us meeting like our marriage was kind of that, you know, as soon as I was willing, I thought I'd be married super fast because after everyone told me, you know, I was in my mid 20s when I got divorced with two very little kids. And everyone's like, you're cute, you're young, you're healthy.

01;09;21;11 - 01;09;37;00 Stephanie Like you're going to easy mom. Like you're going to be snatched up within a year. So that's totally what I thought. Like, okay, everyone is telling me this, why isn't it, you know, yeah, this should happen, right? And I mean, some, even some people even telling me stories about, oh, well, you know, my person that I know, you know, got married within a year.

01;09;37;00 - 01;09;38;28 Stephanie And my first one I know anyway so like.

01;09;38;28 - 01;09;40;03 McKenna Built that expectation.

01;09;40;03 - 01;09;57;24 Stephanie Yeah. So that's kind of like what I expected. And honestly what I wanted. Yeah. So for the longest time, you know, I did everything I could to make it happen. Going to all the activities with single people, you know, just doing everything I could. Yeah, going on a ton of first dates, you know? but it just wasn't right.

01;09;57;24 - 01;10;12;06 Stephanie It wasn't the time. And. And then when I finally just like, okay, I'm just going to let it go, I'm going to create my list of what I want. I'm going to start working on those things because I need to be those things. Yeah. And then, you know, a little while later is when we met.

01;10;12;13 - 01;10;14;04 McKenna Yeah. When you let.

01;10;14;04 - 01;10;16;17 Seth Go thing bada boom.

01;10;16;20 - 01;10;18;07 McKenna And here you are.

01;10;18;10 - 01;10;20;07 Stephanie And and honestly, it's been.

01;10;20;07 - 01;10;24;07 McKenna Better than.

01;10;24;10 - 01;10;27;27 Seth I was not like that.

01;10;27;29 - 01;10;29;03 McKenna

01;10;29;05 - 01;10;42;25 Stephanie We've talked about this frequently. just about how it's better than we could have ever imagined. Even going through it. I knew it would be more than I could have imagined, but it's like even blowing that out of the water. Yeah. You know. Yeah, that's. Say we don't have a hard time.

01;10;43;00 - 01;10;45;13 McKenna But no, that's true.

01;10;45;15 - 01;10;46;01 Stephanie We all do.

01;10;46;01 - 01;10;58;10 McKenna I mean, everyone does. Yep, yep. But he's a good guy. He's he's I vibe checked him. He's good. Why. He's got good vibes. Why did I not think that you would do that.

01;10;58;13 - 01;11;07;12 Seth Yeah. Yeah. It's her scanner. So like emotional scan. All right. Adequate. I, you.

01;11;07;17 - 01;11;10;14 McKenna Know, we all have it. We all have it. We do need you.

01;11;10;14 - 01;11;18;24 Seth To have it. Particularly this this this lady's, like, vibe. Vibe. Monitor vibe. Well, that sounded weird.

01;11;18;26 - 01;11;26;21 McKenna But weird and kind of cool. Yeah. I'm a vibe lover. Yeah.

01;11;26;24 - 01;11;53;17 McKenna Yeah. Like, we all have it. We just don't recognize it or pay attention to it or are attuned to to it like that. First midwife I interviewed, I was like, absolutely not like bad vibes. She even she like, had the same perfume as my mother in law or not, my mother in law. She looked like my mother in law and she was wearing perfume and perfume to me is like like gagging.

01;11;53;17 - 01;12;21;27 McKenna I can't breathe like I'm all essential oil girl. Now. But it's like that. That alone I could have. I literally teetered with that vibe, like, like maybe I just should hire her. you know, then I then I interviewed a second one, and she just put me at ease, and she said the one thing that, like, I needed to hear that gave me the strength to birth unassisted.

01;12;21;29 - 01;12;50;05 McKenna She she just said, babies want to live. they have a like they have such a will and strength to want to live. And I was like, oh yeah, I believe that. And that's all I needed. Like, she was that catalyst for me to finally be at peace with the decision I already knew in my heart of hearts was the decision I needed to make.

01;12;50;07 - 01;13;11;08 McKenna Despite all the fear, despite all the resistance, and all of the reasons I could mentally give for, you know, validating that fear. Right? But I had to just step into faith, and that was what I needed. So it's kind of full circle, that whole conversation.

01;13;11;10 - 01;13;23;21 Seth Well, that's an invitation for us sometimes just to take that extra step and get that information. Yes, intuitively, we know. And sometimes it's like, hey, God, what do you want me to do? And a lot of times it's silent.

01;13;23;27 - 01;13;24;15 McKenna

01;13;24;17 - 01;13;26;15 Seth Because it's like well it's like well.

01;13;26;15 - 01;13;27;03 McKenna Both options.

01;13;27;03 - 01;13;53;05 Seth Are great. What do you want to do exactly. Jesus asked his apostles what desire ye of me. You're like. And they gave different answers. Yeah right. And so inspiration comes from good information better and inspiration comes from better information. So this didn't vibe for me. Maybe, you know, maybe I should just stick with it because that's conventional or that's easier or I'm afraid, well, let me talk to somebody else.

01;13;53;05 - 01;14;11;23 Seth Let me let me just do one more step. I feel like in our journey, you know, in, in, in, in your health journey as well, like in very little of it is like, here's the entire grand picture. Yeah, yeah. But we're getting these little visions, these little revelations, you know, and they're starting little.

01;14;11;23 - 01;14;24;00 Stephanie Intuitions like, you know, I started Somatic Killing and I probably would have never I didn't even know what it was. I just popped up on my Instagram. Yeah. And I would have never done that if I didn't have that vibe and that connection of I don't know what that says, but I need to do it.

01;14;24;01 - 01;14;41;14 McKenna Yep, yep, that was my hour class for me. I was just like, I heard about it and I was like, I need to do this. And it is my favorite day of the week. Art night. So yeah, yeah. Just do those things that you feel compelled to take action.

01;14;41;17 - 01;14;54;20 Stephanie I don't remember what we were talking about. Like why I was bringing this up, but just I just was talking to him about how I went to that art night. Yeah, sound baths, art night, and how I was trying to create my art.

01;14;54;22 - 01;14;55;04 McKenna Yeah.

01;14;55;04 - 01;15;09;19 Stephanie And how, like, I was just getting frustrated. And sometimes I do that nervously. I just giggle, I just laugh and giggle. And I was doing that pretty much the whole entire art night. Yeah, like to the point where people are like looking back at me.

01;15;09;21 - 01;15;15;09 McKenna Like, God, I'm so glad. I'm so uncomfortable. Yeah, exactly.

01;15;15;12 - 01;15;18;26 Stephanie and then you made this comment or this question, and I.

01;15;18;26 - 01;15;20;04 McKenna Was like, oh.

01;15;20;07 - 01;15;24;24 Stephanie And it was, who taught you to stay inside the lines?

01;15;24;27 - 01;15;26;21 McKenna I was like, oh, wow.

01;15;26;24 - 01;15;28;04 Stephanie Yeah. That's true, I haven't.

01;15;28;04 - 01;15;51;08 McKenna Who taught you you needed instruction? Yeah. Like, oh, so many, so many women were uncomfortable with the idea of not having a step by step. and it's like, oh, that just shows where, where we're at with our own, how connected we are to our own body. Right. Because we are uncomfortable with someone just needs to tell me what to do, right?

01;15;51;11 - 01;16;15;20 McKenna Someone tell me which which midwife to choose or which path in my life to go. What direction should I take this job? Should I do this thing? And it's like someone just tell me. I mean, how often do we do that to God? Like it's just that way, right? And he's like, I, I really honor and respect your agency so much that I will let you choose the path.

01;16;15;20 - 01;16;49;25 McKenna And if it's wrong, I will tell you it's wrong. Right. And so often we're just afraid to make a wrong decision. And like, what could it end in. Right. Like I've had to reconcile my wrong decision or the decision to with my daughter. Like she died because I not because I, but like I've you know battled with my own thoughts of I, I should have done this, I should have done this one thing and it would have changed everything.

01;16;49;25 - 01;16;56;15 McKenna Right? It would have stopped her from passing away. Like, that's literally the ultimate right and wrong. Right.

01;16;56;15 - 01;16;58;25 Seth So tell me what I need to go through that next time.

01;16;58;25 - 01;17;20;01 McKenna Right. And so I, I disconnected completely from my intuition for at least a year and a half, if not longer, because I was just like, I didn't listen. I didn't listen to my intuition like I had this thought. It was like a instant thought. And I kind of pushed it away. Right. And that could torment me for my whole entire life.

01;17;20;07 - 01;17;44;10 McKenna That literally could drive me to disease and despair and death, because I could let it eat at me for forever. But I have had to let go that that was this was her path that there's if if it wasn't, then it would have been a different situation right there. There just needed to be certain circumstances for her to pass away.

01;17;44;13 - 01;18;07;21 McKenna And I've had to reconcile. I've had to just cope with that. Yeah. That's that's the ultimate right. The this this decision that decision. But for the most part, we're able to go down a certain path before we hit the roadblock. That's telling us, nope, this is the wrong this isn't right for you. And then you have that certainty.

01;18;07;23 - 01;18;29;06 McKenna You have that certainty that you can switch paths and go down the right road and go down that right place to to the path that you're meant for, or that's, you know, in perfect alignment with your highest self, right? As that's life. That's that's the journey we're on to become like God, to be able to be the ultimate decision maker, right?

01;18;29;07 - 01;18;49;24 McKenna And the ultimate creator. And we can't create unless we are in tune with ourselves and in tune with our body and not I mean, we can listen to him. He's the he's the main source, right? But aloft, in times we seek that outside validation, we seek that outside source that just tossed me want to please tell me what to do.

01;18;49;24 - 01;18;50;14 McKenna

01;18;50;17 - 01;18;59;02 Stephanie Honestly, like, it's really interesting because, I feel like I've come away from that a lot of, of, wanting to be told what to do. I'm just kidding.

01;18;59;05 - 01;19;00;20 McKenna Except for an art, and I.

01;19;00;21 - 01;19;01;27 Stephanie Suffer an art.

01;19;01;29 - 01;19;02;07 McKenna Like.

01;19;02;07 - 01;19;10;11 Stephanie But but at the same time, like, thinking about being like, oh, you need to paint this. I need you to paint. That also kind of stresses me out because it's like, well, what if I don't live up to that?

01;19;10;17 - 01;19;11;02 McKenna Yeah. What is.

01;19;11;02 - 01;19;15;09 Stephanie Perfectionism? Yes I have yeah, I have a lot to learn with art a lot.

01;19;15;12 - 01;19;42;19 McKenna And that's like it's so instructional for me. Like that's I sit my first art class this last year, I, I, I'm part of Jake Kirk, Richard's academy. And we all sat around with our first, you know, thing. And we're doing figure figure drawing. Right. We've I've never done figure before. A lot of us hadn't. There's some who had, but we're just sitting there like struggle bus like all of us are like the struggle of self-talk, right?

01;19;42;19 - 01;20;02;26 McKenna We're all talking so negatively, like, I can't do this. Like I'm so scared, right? So we're in this process of learning and yet we're feeling like we got it. We got to be up here. The bar is way high. And, you know, throughout the semester and throughout our experience, like we're all like gaining our confidence, right. And that's the same with intuition.

01;20;02;26 - 01;20;26;12 McKenna That's the same with just decision making in general. Like you've got to just do and keep going and keep practicing because that's what we're here for is to learn. Yeah. And so like, we've all gotten significantly better in our art and some of us still self deprecate and we still look at our stuff and we're like really uncomfortable showing it to anyone because it is vulnerable.

01;20;26;19 - 01;20;52;05 McKenna Like art is so vulnerable and because it's an outward expression of like an inward thing, right, where our emotions or our vision or, you know, this concept we're trying to convey, you know, we're bringing these fourth dimensional ideas to this, the second dimension to really, like, put it on paper and, you know, present it to people. And yeah, I've been very uncomfortable.

01;20;52;05 - 01;20;54;00 McKenna I have a great imagination.

01;20;54;03 - 01;21;02;01 Stephanie I'm a very visual person. Yeah. And so I can totally visualize what I want to create. Yeah. And it almost never turns out. Yeah. Ever. Yeah.

01;21;02;01 - 01;21;21;05 McKenna Anything close to what I think I mean. Yeah, but sometimes it's that push and pull, like, we talked it out on art and I like one of the girls was like, oh, like I made a mistake, right? Like, get some paper towel and wipe it up or wash it off or start over or cover it up, like, and then through that process.

01;21;21;05 - 01;21;43;21 McKenna Because a lot of it is this push and pull and like it's the same with intuition that push and pull of like how much is me? How much is inspiration and how much what am I doing? Am I on the right path? Right? And then you pull away and like sometimes your artwork turns out like crap, you can throw it away and you start over, but sometimes it turns out way better than you could even anticipate.

01;21;43;23 - 01;21;59;00 McKenna And that's like exactly what we, we talked about earlier. Like life turns out more beautifully than you can anticipate. And you know that's the artwork. Like we're literally God's artwork. Our lives are his artwork. So.

01;21;59;02 - 01;22;08;14 Stephanie Well it was it was funny. So I was telling Seth about that night and I was like, okay, here, do you want to see it? Or he said, oh, I want to see it. And I'm like, I don't know. So I.

01;22;08;16 - 01;22;12;00 McKenna Brought it. I didn't bring it. That's stopped by my house, in my house.

01;22;12;02 - 01;22;29;21 Stephanie So I pull out my phone, I'm like, okay, I guess I'll be vulnerable and I'll show you. Yeah. And so I show him the video of the small square that I did. Yeah. And like, I literally was like, I don't know what I'm doing. Like, okay, I guess I'll just go for it. And so I started, you know, just picked a few colors that I love, some bright colors because I love bright colors.

01;22;29;24 - 01;22;48;12 Stephanie And, I just started doing like little dots all over because I love polka dots too. Yeah. And then I was like, you know, just dabbing things with my fingers. I'm like, this is fun. It's playful. And then I'm like, oh, it needs more. So then I do like this big pink heart. Just the outline. I was like, that's cute, but it needs something else.

01;22;48;12 - 01;22;51;18 Stephanie Like, no, this looks like my little girl did it.

01;22;51;20 - 01;22;53;08 McKenna And that.

01;22;53;10 - 01;22;54;09 Stephanie And so then I.

01;22;54;09 - 01;22;56;10 McKenna Started it was your inner child.

01;22;56;10 - 01;22;58;14 Stephanie It totally was just coming out to play.

01;22;58;14 - 01;22;59;00 McKenna Yes.

01;22;59;02 - 01;23;12;15 Stephanie So then I started, you know, I'm going to I'm just going to go wild. I'm just I don't know if this is going to destroy it or what it's going to do, but I'm just going to get wild. And I just start like drizzling those same colors on top. And anyways. And then it ended up actually turned out pretty.

01;23;12;21 - 01;23;12;29 Stephanie Yeah.

01;23;12;29 - 01;23;18;08 McKenna And when it dried I have out. I'm like, this is amazing. Oh so awesome.

01;23;18;10 - 01;23;24;13 Stephanie So then I was showing Seth the video and he was like, oh, what are you doing? I love like the heart. Like the.

01;23;24;13 - 01;23;25;27 McKenna Color. That's you.

01;23;26;00 - 01;23;30;16 Stephanie But then when it was done, he was like, wow, yeah, I really like this.

01;23;30;24 - 01;23;45;20 Seth When she's explaining this to me and saying, this is horrible. In my hour, I sat there. I didn't know what to do. All these other ladies are doing other things and they're looking great and they know what they're doing. Mine looks terrible. And then she shows it to me. I'm thinking, so this looks great. Yeah. That's cool.

01;23;45;20 - 01;24;08;02 McKenna What's wrong? Yeah, nothing. That's it. And literally. So the girl that your friend who you brought, who ripped up her painting. 3 or 4 other girls were like, oh, that reminds me of a Sarah or a monet, or, you know, they're listing off these big artist names, like, that's like, it looks like it came from that or has that same vibe.

01;24;08;04 - 01;24;29;01 McKenna It's like she was so distraught about her piece and it was just like, you guys, like we. And as artists like in that room, when we sit and we look at other people's art, I like, oh my gosh, like, I love how you did this and I love how you did this. And then people come to my art and I'm like, and they're like, oh, I love how you did this.

01;24;29;01 - 01;24;50;04 McKenna And they see things that I don't see and like, oh, it's just like, we just need to embrace what comes from us and who we are. And our, our individual gifts. Like I say that all the time, like I want my friend spiritual gifts. She she can see. She can secret see things that I don't see. And I just want that.

01;24;50;04 - 01;25;04;17 McKenna I just want that gift, right? And without stepping into my own and being like, I, I do magical things in my own way and in my own voice and in my own gifts that God gave me, I just I can't see it from the outside.

01;25;04;17 - 01;25;07;26 Stephanie It's so true. And honestly, how boring would it be if we all had the same gifts?

01;25;07;27 - 01;25;09;06 McKenna

01;25;09;08 - 01;25;16;03 Stephanie Yeah, that'd be boring. That wouldn't be a special or you know. Yeah, be able to connect and help each other if we all have the same gifts.

01;25;16;05 - 01;25;19;26 McKenna Yeah. Be yourself.

01;25;19;29 - 01;25;32;13 Seth So I heard this quote that art once and it goes something like this. Art is the one thing that we create just for itself.

01;25;32;15 - 01;25;33;27 McKenna

01;25;33;29 - 01;25;48;25 Seth Right. Not necessary, not even necessarily to be shown like it is an expression of our soul. Right. I'm thinking about David's Michelangelo right now. Right. Yeah. sometimes I like just to stand like I does.

01;25;48;27 - 01;25;54;03 McKenna I see it, I.

01;25;54;05 - 01;26;14;12 Seth But it's the one thing that we create just for the purpose of creation. and I, you know, as part of my healing journey, I'm thinking for me, in the work that we're doing, you know, in our business, you know, and even in our families, I have been. So I think I've been so addicted to results because I've had a lot of results.

01;26;14;18 - 01;26;46;20 Seth Yeah, a lot of great results. Yeah. And I think I just this next growth phase of me is solely for creative purpose and disconnect myself from, you know, from needing to have the harvest when I'm still back and just just enjoy it. Just enjoy it. Just enjoy creating. Just enjoy creating. Like this conversation I'm not worried about anything.

01;26;46;20 - 01;27;05;19 Seth I'm not worried about any of the metrics. And yeah, like this has just been awesome. And I'm excited to share it because I know it's been enriching for me, for all of us, truly. And okay, I'm just going to focus on creation for our family, our family goals. You know, I got these big five goals that we've got on our vision board.

01;27;05;21 - 01;27;15;29 Seth Oh, okay. So just for creative sake, just go create them and then let let the fruit let the result fall off the tree. Yeah.

01;27;16;01 - 01;27;16;22 McKenna And it might be.

01;27;16;22 - 01;27;17;12 Seth Naturally.

01;27;17;17 - 01;27;38;08 McKenna Astronomically bigger than you could even imagine because it came from that genuine space. Instead of that like results, the results result for us. And I am so not to say you can't have that, but and you can't have metrics and stuff because that is those are good tools. But yeah, you will attract more when you are in that creative space.

01;27;38;08 - 01;27;59;03 Seth When I think where I am right now, you know, having, you know, you create several really successful businesses and then you start something new or you decide to reinvent yourself within your own business and you just you kind of expect, hey, right. Whether you know, you had a five figure, a six figure, a seven figure multi, you just expect sometimes that okay.

01;27;59;04 - 01;27;59;27 Seth Like turn it on.

01;27;59;28 - 01;28;00;11 McKenna Yeah.

01;28;00;18 - 01;28;04;03 Seth Well just turn on the flow right now. Go. Yeah.

01;28;04;05 - 01;28;04;29 McKenna You know so.

01;28;05;01 - 01;28;08;06 Seth This has been healing for me and I thank you.

01;28;08;13 - 01;28;12;13 McKenna Yeah. You're welcome. I think I, pulled some.

01;28;12;13 - 01;28;33;03 Stephanie Stuff together from just our conversation just now of I think one reason I struggle with the art is because of the vulnerability of people. Like, talking about, how it's an expression of who you are and then being fearful of being read wrong. Yeah. In my art.

01;28;33;06 - 01;28;42;00 McKenna But when you see that people will read it and they'll look through their lens anyway. So often times it's just a reflection of them. In the end.

01;28;42;03 - 01;28;46;00 Seth They may not even see you. How true is that in life. Yeah. People don't even really see you.

01;28;46;01 - 01;28;55;29 McKenna Yeah. Yeah. Because they're looking through their own lens or their own trauma or whatever, and they'll see what they see. And that's like, oh, that's insight to you. Yeah. It's been wonderful.

01;28;56;02 - 01;29;03;27 Stephanie So I'm gonna kind of how can people reach out to you if they're interested in, you know, the different modalities or your art or classes or anything?

01;29;03;27 - 01;29;28;29 McKenna Yeah. So you can find me on Instagram. It's just McAnally, two O's, two L's. And then, I'm on Facebook as well. And then my website is Maira Studios. Maira means light. but it's also an acronym of my name Mae or, McKenna Earhart. That's my maiden name. Okay. Orem, Utah. Okay. But,

01;29;29;02 - 01;29;29;25 Seth So how do you spell your.

01;29;29;25 - 01;29;31;12 McKenna Then? M e o r a.

01;29;31;13 - 01;29;33;27 Seth M ora studios.com.

01;29;33;28 - 01;29;48;13 McKenna Yep. And I mean, I don't have my email thing set up yet. I'm like, I'm an artist. I need someone else to do that for me. Yeah, but yeah, that's where you find me.

01;29;48;15 - 01;29;52;23 Seth Well thank you. I'm excited to get to a sound bath. I've not. I've not been to one.

01;29;52;26 - 01;29;58;14 McKenna Yeah, yeah. So we we were going to do a couples one. Yeah. Yeah, yeah. Maybe I'll do it again.

01;29;58;18 - 01;30;00;07 Stephanie Yeah. We'll have to talk about this.

01;30;00;10 - 01;30;03;03 McKenna All these men, these resistant men,

01;30;03;06 - 01;30;05;12 Stephanie I've got some creative ideas that we should talk about. Okay.

01;30;05;14 - 01;30;06;14 McKenna So.

01;30;06;17 - 01;30;10;14 Seth And cut. It's a wrap.
