And that's where self-care comes in. As a woman, it is my opportunity and my responsibility to take care of me.

00:07:07:17 - 00:07:09:16

00:07:57:23 - 00:08:30:17
Seth
That's impressive. Her mission is heart centered, and that's a play on words for the movement and business she founded. and a hope centered business team, Hope. Her mission is to to help restore lives. Inviting you to work with the internal in order to connect that with the next journal and engage with your life's purpose. How did we do?

00:08:30:19 - 00:08:35:03
Lourdes
I'm like, I want to meet. No.

00:08:35:05 - 00:09:08:16
Lourdes
Hey, it's been a long time. And to make you, like. I can't believe you know that in those intros, you get to say a lot of the great things about a person. But there's also a very deep story of suffering and transformation. So I used to like not being very open about people saying good things about me, but I'm giving myself permission and I'm like, yeah, that's me.

00:09:08:18 - 00:09:34:23
Lourdes
Nobody. Nobody's done the work. I've done the work. And it's an invitation for others to allow their light to shine as bright as you know they can, because that's the only way that we are going to start making a movement around the world. And, you know, if we all give ourselves permission, imagine the world where everyone is like, yeah, I've done this, I've done that.

00:09:34:23 - 00:09:40:13
Lourdes
This is me now, you know, and it's it's a good thing. It's a good.

00:09:40:13 - 00:09:43:03
Seth
Thing. You serve nobody by playing small.

00:09:43:05 - 00:09:44:14
Lourdes
Yeah, nobody.

00:09:44:16 - 00:09:53:12
Seth
You serve nobody by hiding your light. You serve nobody by. By diminishing your contribution.

00:09:53:14 - 00:10:22:14
Lourdes
I love that from the course of miracles. Like, in fact, I read a book, my. I think probably the only book that I read paid the cover to cover in, like, a week was A Return to Love by Marianne Williamson. And it was such a deep, deep, deep, book. for me, I cried. And that's when my spiritual journey began.

00:10:22:16 - 00:10:52:19
Lourdes
and I started allowing myself to, through those tears. It started the spiritual cleansing. And so when I read that, oh, my God, like, I remember now and I just, I, you know, it brings tears to my eyes because it's very emotional. And we hold so much, you know, of our past experiences and our burdens and, you know, a lot of crap that it's not even ours.

00:10:52:19 - 00:11:07:05
Lourdes
You know, limited beliefs and things like that, that when you have an outlet to release all that, it's just like, wow, you know, why didn't anybody tell me that? I would say that I could do this, you know, 20 years ago?

00:11:07:07 - 00:11:10:11
Stephanie
I'm like, yes, I relate to all of that.

00:11:10:13 - 00:11:11:04
Lourdes

00:11:11:06 - 00:11:36:06
Stephanie
It's a journey. Something that, was brought up in, one of our Sunday services, recently was not just reading, the papers in the scriptures or, you know, just like we were introducing you here, not just reading the words that are black, but reading what was white. And I think that goes along with, you know, what you've said, all that it's taken to get you to where you are now and who you are, who you've become.

00:11:36:08 - 00:12:00:12
Lourdes
And that goes back to the social media and what's happening in the world nowadays. You know, it's all about transformations. And I think and I know you're going to talk about social media, you know, here in a little bit, but but it's incredible. You watch what's going to happen in social media is going to help us grow and recognize where we've been and where we where we want to be.

00:12:00:12 - 00:12:11:06
Lourdes
Or, you know, this path of, healing. because that's what that's what that movement is all about. It's just I'm just loving it.

00:12:11:08 - 00:12:37:12
Seth
You made a comment earlier about, Lou, you said something about, well, you know, I it was after this introduction. You listen to that and say, yeah, yeah, I did that. I mean, you want to come to that point where you're not embarrassed to be introduced, you're not embarrassed to be complimented, but to be completely and wholly recognize and and live in the moment, say, yeah, yeah, I did that.

00:12:37:12 - 00:12:41:13
Seth
And you said something recently like that that I thought was pretty tremendously powerful.

00:12:41:14 - 00:12:43:22
Lourdes
What did I say?

00:12:44:00 - 00:12:45:21
Seth
Who's that? Who's been here?

00:12:45:23 - 00:12:47:23
Stephanie
Oh, yeah. Where was I?

00:12:48:01 - 00:12:50:03
Seth
I think you were at. I think you were at a sound bath.

00:12:50:03 - 00:13:06:12
Stephanie
Oh, that's right. I recently went to a sound bath and a breathwork class. He took us on this journey, you know, kind of talking a little bit about it. And then he, like, lets you fill in the gaps and then, you know, like, it was really funny. He's like, okay, you're walking along the stream and then you come up to this wall.

00:13:06:12 - 00:13:22:19
Stephanie
And before he said anything else, I was already climbing over that wall. And then it's like, then you see a door and I'm like, oh crap, do I have to go back, you know, to to go down the wall to get through the door? It's kind of funny, but, one of the songs, I don't remember which one it was because I had a lot of profound moments during that.

00:13:22:19 - 00:13:46:14
Stephanie
But one of them, it just made me think, oh my goodness, who has been there through my whole journey? You know, who's the one constant and thinking of the different people who have been there along the way, but maybe not the whole time or, you know, bits and pieces, you know, especially like my mother has been there through a ton of it, but not all of it.

00:13:46:14 - 00:14:06:08
Stephanie
And, you know, stuff has been a huge piece and, gaining confidence and and recognizing who I am and, and whatnot. But it just hit me so strongly, like I am the one constant. I am the one who has always been there for myself. I'm the one who's always hold myself out of that, got her and said, no, I'm going to become better, not better.

00:14:06:10 - 00:14:12:10
Stephanie
And, got me to where I'm at. And that was such a proud moment for me, was to recognize that.

00:14:12:15 - 00:14:39:09
Lourdes
Of course, and not a lot of people are talking about that. It's like the inner child, you know, our our little, our little blue and our little sad, you know, the little staff, you know, we've forgotten about that. The little one. Right. And I think that if it wasn't for never marketing, I would have never stepped into the, opportunity to do the work inward.

00:14:39:11 - 00:15:06:05
Lourdes
and that's one that's that's one. I don't know if you want to call a therapy exercise. Everyone should go because there's a lot of little kids abandoned out there that are that want to integrate. and we must help them not because they need us, but because we need them. That's what. That's beautiful.

00:15:06:07 - 00:15:31:01
Stephanie
I recently did, inner parts work. Child work. And it was. I was absolutely amazed at what I was able to accomplish with, this coach and going and talking to little Stephanie and realizing, you know, what she needed in that moment. And it was mind blowing. Life changing. Absolutely. Life changing. Yeah. To hold her hand and help her and, you know, to heal and and to feel safe.

00:15:31:03 - 00:16:01:19
Lourdes
And to see her just being this strong, powerful, beautiful and all. Mother girl. I know it's it's very moving. Like at it's hard. I think everyone cries and everyone these kids just actually not cries just but lasts. Yeah, I yes it it's starting moment. Absolutely absolutely cleansing.

00:16:01:19 - 00:16:10:20
Stephanie
Yeah. The first time that I did it you know I had mascara on from the day and whatnot and I'm like oh my goodness. Next time I do this I'm not wearing mascara because it is just all over the face.

00:16:11:01 - 00:16:37:17
Lourdes
Yeah. Oh my God. I you know, I remember one one time Doctor Felix just my partner in, in the business. So he wanted to she wanted us to talk to somebody in Mexico. So we did it via zoom. And as I'm talking to this guy, we're prospecting him, and, you know, I'm talking to him. And I realize that he tells us that he's a coach, a transformational coach.

00:16:37:19 - 00:17:10:15
Lourdes
So I told Doctor Felix, I'm like, well, we should just go to the coaching that he's having this weekend. And me thinking, you know, is going to be like, like an hour coaching, you know, on, you know, how to I don't know, whatever. And the next thing I know is we're we're there and it's like a full weekend and march and actually, like, this really crazy, you know, inner music people.

00:17:10:17 - 00:17:42:17
Lourdes
Next thing I know, Doctor Phillips, which is this big guy, you know, and, and, amazing guy and I, we're, like, sobbing on the floor like crazy. You know, our hair is, like, all, like, messy. We don't really care about the business anymore. It's all about what is happening right there. It's like, I don't know, after the weekend, we're looking at each other like what happened to us?

00:17:42:19 - 00:17:48:10
Lourdes
This was just going to be a third party validation.

00:17:48:12 - 00:18:03:03
Seth
We wanted to show good faith and and say, hey, we we we understand and we we validate your work. Like 36 hours later, right? The most cathartic crying that you've done in a decade.

00:18:03:05 - 00:18:29:05
Lourdes
In my entire life. Well, it was and and not only that, that was only like there were like three levels. That was only the first level. We went back two more times and Doctor Phillips was flying from Puerto Rico. I was flying from Mexico to, I mean, from the United States to Mexico. These training was in Mexico.

00:18:29:07 - 00:18:31:06
Stephanie
Sounds like something I would go to.

00:18:31:08 - 00:18:33:08
Lourdes
Oh my God, that is amazing.

00:18:33:10 - 00:18:39:17
Seth
Next time you need next time you commit, you know, and you need a partner, call Steph. That's right up her alley.

00:18:39:19 - 00:18:45:15
Lourdes
Yeah. Best thing I've done in my life. Really? Well, one of the best. Yeah. So, Lou, what are you.

00:18:45:15 - 00:18:49:19
Stephanie
Most passionate about right now? And what are you doing about it?

00:18:49:21 - 00:19:19:03
Lourdes
Wow. I think that I'm a very passionate woman. And the the things that are most interested in in those are right now would be my, you know, my family. I just have a I had a granddaughter and she's beautiful. So I'm very passionate about spending time with her, getting to know her first granddaughter. First granddaughter. Yeah.

00:19:19:04 - 00:19:20:00
Seth
Okay.

00:19:20:02 - 00:19:29:12
Lourdes
Actually, I'm going to show you. I don't know if you can see, but right here I have my vision board. Okay. So and I got and this year everybody.

00:19:29:12 - 00:19:31:00
Seth
Take a quick screenshot.

00:19:31:01 - 00:20:05:04
Lourdes
Okay. So I divided it in four. So these year 2024 I'm passionate about four things. Number one right here I'm passionate about my physical body. So I been working out yoga hot yoga trying to eat healthy and all that. So keep going. Save strength. You know all that for the first time in a long time. I'm passionate about my family and being a housewife.

00:20:05:08 - 00:20:24:00
Lourdes
You know, slash like, mom and I haven't done this in a long, long, long time. Like, I'm a workaholic, so this is usually, like, left for somebody else to do or not do it at all. So I just moved to a beautiful home like I, you know, this is my office, but I have a beautiful pool out there.

00:20:24:00 - 00:20:56:23
Lourdes
It's just a beautiful home. So this is done. So I'm doing good here. I'm doing good here. Now over there. It's it's I think my biggest passion not because is what's most important. Because what's most important is my family. But that's that's been a passion of mine for forever, which is my work. And, you know, these are my goals, what I want to do and as far as, you know, specific, you know, amount of money in abundance and what I want to do, but more what I want to create.

00:20:56:23 - 00:21:26:20
Lourdes
So I'm very, very creative in that space. And then over here, what I'm passionate about is my spiritual life. That's like one of my biggest passion. And I usually try to go to a retreat like, like a rural retreat or do something deep. So this year I think I might be going to Peru. Ooh. So, that's how I divided my year.

00:21:26:22 - 00:21:53:06
Lourdes
So four things I'm passionate about, which is physical body, my family, and creating a, you know, a homey, loving environment at home, my business and exploding, you know, abundance, financial abundance, and activating and continue activating my spiritual life, which I think is a source of abundance.

00:21:53:08 - 00:22:00:01
Stephanie
Absolutely. I think that you should add on there not just Peru, but, Africa.

00:22:00:03 - 00:22:11:12
Lourdes
I know, I know, I know, I don't know why. In fact, look at this. I should I don't know how that's going to happen, but look at this. I and this is before I knew about them. So I know.

00:22:11:12 - 00:22:12:11
Seth
It's already on there.

00:22:12:13 - 00:22:13:12
Lourdes
It's already here.

00:22:13:17 - 00:22:18:21
Seth
You just needed you just needed your little African angel right here.

00:22:18:23 - 00:22:20:21
Lourdes
I need a call, a nap. Yeah. For sure.

00:22:21:02 - 00:22:24:18
Seth
She doesn't look like an African angel, but. But she is.

00:22:24:20 - 00:22:31:13
Lourdes
Oh. Oh, yes. Stephanie, for sure. Yes. I thought you were talking about the other Africa thing.

00:22:31:15 - 00:22:35:12
Seth
Oh, yeah. Oh, the South Africa. Yeah. Yeah. You're talking about the South Africa. No.

00:22:35:13 - 00:22:36:03
Lourdes
Oh no.

00:22:36:03 - 00:22:38:07
Stephanie
The humanitarian in Africa.

00:22:38:08 - 00:22:41:09
Seth
Oh my God. You want to talk about spiritual journey.

00:22:41:11 - 00:22:53:08
Lourdes
Oh my God I you see you see how it goes. I'm telling you I don't know. But there's a you see it right here. There is a. Yes.

00:22:53:10 - 00:22:54:12
Seth
Well I, I.

00:22:54:12 - 00:22:57:12
Stephanie
Claim that space on your board.

00:22:57:14 - 00:23:00:20
Lourdes
And you need to tell me all about it for sure. I want to do that. Okay.

00:23:00:21 - 00:23:07:03
Seth
I think I'm going to send I send you a little picture of you, like a little sitting picture so she can put you up on that elephant.

00:23:07:05 - 00:23:12:09
Lourdes
Right? I'm sitting on it with me. I saw.

00:23:12:11 - 00:23:12:23
Seth
That.

00:23:13:01 - 00:23:13:15
Lourdes
With.

00:23:13:17 - 00:23:42:10
Seth
That is an African elephant. It's not an Asian elephant, right? We know we've been Asia. We've written the elephants here. We've bathed the elephants there. That right there, Lou is an African elephant. And, in fact, you know, the work that that we're doing in Africa, Stephanie was just asked, you know, Stephanie, I support and I've kind of been an ancillary, support to her, kind of kind of an appendage.

00:23:42:12 - 00:23:49:11
Seth
but she's going to serve another full term. We've been on the board for, a foundation, hearts and hands. Right?

00:23:49:13 - 00:23:50:03
Stephanie
for humanity.

00:23:50:03 - 00:23:59:04
Seth
For for humanity. we run an orphanage in Africa, full time. we drill wells. We've. I can't remember how many wells we've driven, but one.

00:23:59:05 - 00:24:01:04
Stephanie
Hundred so far, 250 and two.

00:24:01:04 - 00:24:28:08
Seth
Hundred and 50 wells and maintain them. and that's we've talked extensively about that on episodes one and two. By the way, for those who are listening, Steph talked about that, and we had Tish Jackson, who is the secretary to the organization. But, we just turned out or just finished a term as board members. And Stephanie's been asked to come back as a board member, for the, for the organization and to serve as the chairman.

00:24:28:10 - 00:24:29:07
Stephanie
For fundraising.

00:24:29:11 - 00:24:33:03
Seth
The chairman for for fundraising so that we can make more of this happen.

00:24:33:05 - 00:24:35:11
Lourdes
Yeah. So when are you going back?

00:24:35:13 - 00:24:38:08
Stephanie
That's actually up for discussion.

00:24:38:11 - 00:24:40:21
Seth
There are a lot of trips already planned. Right now.

00:24:40:21 - 00:24:50:17
Stephanie
I think there are only two that are still right now. There's one in June and one in October. And then they said, if I get a group together, we can go. We can pick one, make it happen.

00:24:50:21 - 00:25:04:12
Seth
So we're looking at a custom trip and, and, and you know, inviting people. Well you because inviting inviting people who have African elephants on their vision board, that's that's our target market.

00:25:04:12 - 00:25:31:16
Lourdes
That would be mean. You think you think you did that crazy? Well, no, but I do believe that. okay. Let's see. I'm going to go into this rabbit hole. I know, but I do believe that things are already there. I mean, things are already planned, and, I don't even know if there is, like, time. Time does not exist.

00:25:31:18 - 00:25:43:23
Lourdes
I mean, it's just so confusing to me at this point because that, I mean, I, I did this in in January, we were we're having this conversation here in, in, you know.

00:25:44:00 - 00:25:45:14
Seth
April and April almost.

00:25:45:15 - 00:26:15:12
Lourdes
We might be in Africa in October. So like, I don't know how things just happen. All I know is that you have to tell your mind where you want. and you have to just trust that God will orchestrate the universe or whoever it is, physics. It'll it'll bring it all together. And it's going to be a perfect plan.

00:26:15:12 - 00:26:27:13
Lourdes
So I am no longer trying to control my life. pretty much just showing up for the party. So who it's meant to be. It was meant to be. And we will be there in October.

00:26:27:15 - 00:26:29:05
Stephanie
Or whenever or whenever.

00:26:29:05 - 00:26:54:21
Seth
We go earlier or later, like we literally got home from, the, the new, the new year, like for. Yeah, from, for the foundation and basically just I mean she came home on a high, you know, they reached out to I mean, they reached out, said, we want you to to to chair the entire fundraising for, for this organization and that we you should tell that story, actually.

00:26:54:23 - 00:26:56:09
Stephanie
What part?

00:26:56:11 - 00:27:02:12
Seth
The story, how you were how how you how you had already decided to say no, that you weren't going to chair because it was.

00:27:02:16 - 00:27:22:10
Stephanie
Well, it was I mean, we've got so much going on and so many good things, but so much going on in our lives. And I feel like, you know, our plates are full. And, so I got a call from the board president, and, I was doing something with the kids, and so he left a message and asked if I would, you know, be the chair for fundraiser.

00:27:22:12 - 00:27:37:21
Stephanie
And I was like, oh my goodness. Like, number one, I'm shocked. He asked me, number two, I don't I don't know if I can do it. I just, you know, all these different things are racing through my head. Do I have the time? Do I have the capacity? And I was like, what are you going to do?

00:27:37:23 - 00:27:38:17
Lourdes
I'm like, I don't.

00:27:38:17 - 00:27:57:13
Stephanie
Know, tell you, almost like, tell me what to do. But not telling him to tell me what to do because I knew it was my decision. And so I just kept praying to God. And, I kept kind of feeling antsy about it, but I think that was just me because I was like, okay, I've got a column before this board meeting, which was yesterday, last night.

00:27:57:15 - 00:28:17:19
Stephanie
So yesterday morning on my walk, I'm like, I'm going to call him. So I called him full, fully attending or intending to say no, like, I'm so sorry, I just can't do it right now. And as soon as he started talking about it, it was like the Holy Spirit was like, Stephanie, this is your next step. And I was like, crap, are you serious?

00:28:17:19 - 00:28:20:19
Stephanie
God.

00:28:20:21 - 00:28:22:12
Lourdes
We put.

00:28:22:14 - 00:28:23:11
Stephanie
Are you sure about.

00:28:23:11 - 00:28:24:21
Lourdes
This?

00:28:24:23 - 00:28:42:12
Stephanie
And I just kept feeling peaceful and I'm like, okay, I hear you. And so I asked questions before I fully said yes, but, I at the you know, towards the end of that conversation, I was like, yes, I would be honored and humbled to be the chairman for that. And, they were very excited that I said.

00:28:42:12 - 00:28:47:02
Lourdes
Yes for sure. That's that's incredible. Congratulations.

00:28:47:04 - 00:29:00:02
Stephanie
Thank you, thank you. We'll see. We'll see what you know this next step is and where it takes me. But God wanted me to do it. Seth knows I don't ever say no to God.

00:29:00:04 - 00:29:26:06
Seth
So. So my my perspective, my little, And my little asterisk on this story, by, by the chairwoman is that when she told me a few days ago on on last week, I, I said, okay, what are you going to do about it? And again, she basically communicated, I can't do this right now. Like, this is this is too much.

00:29:26:08 - 00:29:45:15
Seth
I know her heart's in it. Like, we we just, we just she was on, Well, she's been on, you know, we've been on the governing board and been involved in our last fundraiser, which was tremendously successful. And guess who gave some some of the most amazing support and ideas on that? without.

00:29:45:15 - 00:29:47:02
Stephanie
You know, it's. God, I was she.

00:29:47:02 - 00:30:03:23
Seth
Just had some inspiration. Hey, what if we made some suggestions? Again? That's leadership, you know, not necessarily doing everything, but but together with the team put those ideas into, into action. And it was wildly, wildly successful, like, the best we'd ever had.

00:30:04:01 - 00:30:08:11
Stephanie
of and that wasn't that wasn't because of me, you know, we had another.

00:30:08:11 - 00:30:31:06
Seth
Woman somebody else was chairing. They did an amazing job. Everybody made their contributions. But it just so happened that Stephanie was was a huge contributor to the ideas and what I'll call the form. Right. It's like when you build a house, you know, they pour concrete foundation, like they dig a hole in poured concrete foundation, and they put forms, they put boards and stakes in the ground, and then they pour the concrete into that.

00:30:31:12 - 00:31:04:05
Seth
The concrete fills the space in the form, and everything that's that's created in the house is built on that structure. Right? The roof isn't the foundation, but the roof is eventually is ultimately determined by what that form looks like in the framing and everything. So she made a contribution to the form. That's leadership right there. Yeah. Yeah. It's it's it's contribution that affects the next sequence in the next sequence in the next sequence.

00:31:04:07 - 00:31:26:03
Seth
So she's super talented that way brings a fresh perspective. And she's and I knew I could tell she was going to say no. And I think I said something like, well have you prayed about it? You know, and you know, have you and I have you, have you counseled with God and, and then we kind of didn't talk about it.

00:31:26:03 - 00:31:35:20
Seth
And she went to the meeting and I figured she was going to say no. And then she came home from that meeting and started talking to me, and I got this big old grin on my face because I knew you mean walk.

00:31:35:20 - 00:31:40:02
Stephanie
I went on the walk and came home and started talking to you, and you were grinning.

00:31:40:02 - 00:32:15:10
Seth
Oh yeah. Yeah. That's right. Yeah, I was right. But yeah, you got on the phone with, with with the chairman of the board and you came back and I could just tell Mike you said yes. You said yes. Mike. Yeah. That's that's so. So the moral of the story is that. Yeah, there are things in your life where you might think, I've got too much going on right now, but when you take when you make space to, to listen to that, to that higher voice, you're going to be a lot busier and affect a lot more lives.

00:32:15:10 - 00:32:17:10
Seth
Right? So congratulations, chairwoman.

00:32:17:13 - 00:32:18:18
Lourdes
Thank you.

00:32:18:20 - 00:32:25:06
Stephanie
Just like us going to Africa, Lou. We're going to affect so many lives. I'm so excited to plan that with you for sure.

00:32:25:06 - 00:32:49:04
Lourdes
And I been, you know, asking for it. And I thought, you know, and and who knows? Like God works in mysterious ways and, I, I, like I said, I just have that corner and in my mind, of course, is like this lavish retreat, right, that I'm going to go to. But I want to serve. I mean, we've built homes in Mexico.

00:32:49:08 - 00:33:21:14
Lourdes
You guys have have been part of it and. Yeah, yeah, truly in the best experience in in the company since I started, I could probably say it was a three day weekend where I took my mom, my dad and my two sisters and all of us contributed to building those homes. And, I mean, I have a video of my dad, like, steering the, cement.

00:33:21:16 - 00:33:48:12
Lourdes
And it just he just brings me tears because it's all of us. It's like the compassion and you seeing the love of my parents, who I adore, just, you know, it. Just showing me and my sisters once again, even though we're grown ups, that, hey, we came to this live to serve, we came to serve. And so, you know, I'm not surprised that God is like, no, no, it's going to be here.

00:33:48:12 - 00:33:50:09
Lourdes
It's going to be Africa.

00:33:50:11 - 00:34:01:21
Seth
You knew what you thought was going to be like romancing the Stone or, like like, you know, like, you know, Lion King.

00:34:01:23 - 00:34:03:09
Lourdes
I love it.

00:34:03:11 - 00:34:04:06
Seth
Here.

00:34:04:08 - 00:34:06:12
Lourdes
I love it. I mean, it is.

00:34:06:13 - 00:34:22:09
Seth
Going to be in the orphanages, so drilling wells, now there is this there is a safari that we go on. By the way, there is a safari. you can also take take an extra week and hike Mount Kilimanjaro.

00:34:22:11 - 00:34:25:08
Stephanie
No, I'm not doing that this year.

00:34:25:10 - 00:34:27:04
Seth
There's there are all kinds of options here.

00:34:27:08 - 00:34:29:00
Stephanie
Maybe along the road, but not this year.

00:34:29:00 - 00:34:29:21
Seth
For next year, I'm doing.

00:34:29:21 - 00:34:55:13
Lourdes
You know what I mean? Ever since I was. So when I went to high school, you could choose, like, you know, somewhere that you could graduate on, and I, I chose social work. Social work to like me, like a social worker kind of thing. and we worked with little kids in schools, unprivileged schools, and, I fell in love with the kids.

00:34:55:15 - 00:35:21:12
Lourdes
And all my life, I've always said, if I ever do contribution, if I ever do something, I want to do it. I want to work with kids. Yes. And, so for sure, I mean, I believe that working with kids, it's the same, I don't ever want to say smarter, but just if you can influence the life of a kid.

00:35:21:12 - 00:35:54:14
Lourdes
I mean, think about it. When they grow up and their lives, because we are affected by what happened to us between the age of zero and seven. just. Wow. I mean, these seven years, you can, you know, you meet 50, 60 year old grown man that have difficult lives because at age three or at age five or at age 2..., you know what I mean?

00:35:54:20 - 00:36:06:18
Lourdes
So I, I really believe in working with, with infants and I be I be very I know my soul and my heart would be just like,

00:36:06:20 - 00:36:23:14
Stephanie
Even talking about it. I'm just like, oh, take me back, take me back. Because, I mean, we got to go to a few high schools not to go into all the details, but, we got to go to a few high schools and teach the boys. You know, the men taught the boys, and we taught the girls, you know, about their bodies and how how wonderful they are.

00:36:23:14 - 00:36:41:09
Stephanie
And you know, what a gift they are. And, the men, taught the boys, you know, how to treat women and and all that. So we got to do that at a couple high schools. We got to go to a baby orphanage and hold babies and stuff like that. That was so beautiful. And their location is absolutely stunning.

00:36:41:09 - 00:37:03:09
Stephanie
They have the most gorgeous view. And we got to go to other orphanages and feed them sandwiches and bring a little toy that was donated and just a little tiny candy. and we stop at the supermarket in the morning and I grab some bubbles. And some of those kids have never seen bubbles before. Yeah. And they were just going crazy and so excited just to play with the bubbles.

00:37:03:11 - 00:37:24:14
Stephanie
I mean, and the orphanage that we actually just recently took on is our own. One of the girls there, I want to say she was around 9 or 10, and we brought a whole bunch of random toys that people donated. And there were a couple waffle balls on there. One of the boys, the orphans there, started throwing it with one of the other, volunteers.

00:37:24:16 - 00:37:41:01
Stephanie
And then this little girl like, you know, she got the ball and wanted me to come play with her. And we literally threw back and forth, I want to say, for at least an hour, maybe hour and a half, and they would try to come get her. Mind you, these orphans, they typically eat once a day, maybe twice a day.

00:37:41:03 - 00:38:00:12
Stephanie
And so we brought them peanut butter sandwiches, and they kept calling for her to come get her sandwich. And she was like, no, no, no, because she just wanted that connection to play. So it's just those types of things. Like, honestly, a lot of the times I forgot, I forget that we even went on a safari unless somebody brings it up because I'm just like those kids, you know?

00:38:00:12 - 00:38:08:12
Stephanie
And all along the way we'll stop and like, hand out dresses or skirts that were donated. And yeah, just it's amazing.

00:38:08:12 - 00:38:37:21
Lourdes
I love what you're saying. So, you know, when you have the opportunity to go through like the, the basic needs of human needs, you know, at the, at the end, I am it's contribution, right? It's even more than money. I think that we've been very blessed with the business that we have, and we've been taking care of. And, you know, it's time to give back.

00:38:37:21 - 00:39:06:06
Lourdes
And and I think the people that activate their, their giving once they have money, they do get to experience the experience the ultimate joy. And gratification in in life I love what you guys are doing and I know that you're giving back. You know a lot of what God has given you guys. And it's very inspiring.

00:39:06:07 - 00:39:21:02
Lourdes
So and that's why I love, you know, being and doing business in the company that I am in because, you know, it's it's, it's I, I believe that God's company I don't, God is in the middle.

00:39:21:04 - 00:39:31:04
Seth
Definitely I love that well, I love that you shared, your vision board and I appreciate the visual. I appreciate the visual. I was inspired.

00:39:31:04 - 00:39:33:22
Stephanie
I'm like, oh, I want to go do this.

00:39:34:00 - 00:39:56:13
Seth
So we know that we know that that those who are who are, if you're listening to this, again, you can go to the YouTube version of the show on our YouTube channel, or you can find it at the Forever Young show.com. And every episode, is, of course, on Apple and Spotify and Podbean and Coffee Bean or whatever, whatever the podcast platforms are.

00:39:56:13 - 00:40:18:19
Seth
But. And YouTube. But you can find it all on the show and if you want to reference what Lou is showing, then I think, Lou, if you don't mind, if you're okay too, if you can snap some pictures, if it's not too personal, snap some pictures. We'll share those, you know, in our social channels as we, as we do highlights of the show, just to give some inspiration.

00:40:18:21 - 00:40:20:01
Lourdes
So. Sure.

00:40:20:03 - 00:40:34:12
Seth
Thank you. Thank you so let's jump into those. You you had health. You had. We want to talk about a number of these in episode one. Here I am because I know we're gonna have to have you back on the show because we're not going to get get through it all. And the three hours of today. But but why don't you take that next question?

00:40:34:14 - 00:40:42:06
Stephanie
Okay, so when it comes to self-care for the mind, what is your biggest strength?

00:40:42:07 - 00:41:15:19
Lourdes
So. Oh, God. I believe that in my journey, understanding that I am not the mind, that I'm not my mind, it's been the biggest realization. So I spend years understanding or embracing or, acknowledging that I, I, I, I am not the mind. So. Okay, so if I, if I'm not the mind, then who is the mind.

00:41:15:21 - 00:42:07:10
Lourdes
Right. And so my biggest strength is, just awareness is just constantly improving my awareness and this is, this is the present moment. My thoughts are sometimes not my friend. There is these internal dialog that we all have that is toxic. And I just happen to probably have a a bigger or higher toxicity just because in my mind it is so, so fast.

00:42:07:12 - 00:42:48:03
Lourdes
lots of movement, lots of noise, lots of inner chat, you know, so I've learned that, you know, I'm now my mind. So, I'm, I'm, I'm very good at catching it most of the time and bringing myself back to peace and anchor myself into that energy of peace and trust and in the present moment, beautiful. So that I would say that is my biggest strength.

00:42:48:05 - 00:43:19:12
Lourdes
And I've spent many, many, many, like I said, many years, many hours, working that muscle to where I understand when my mind is really not being my friend is saying things that are not good and, allowing that tantrum to just, you know, just like a little kid, right? A little kid would just start with a tantrum.

00:43:19:12 - 00:43:43:20
Lourdes
You can't some sometimes you can say, okay, stop. And the kid would stop, but sometimes they won't stop. Oh, yeah. You know, and you just have to kind of give it a little space, but, you know, that eventually will stop and it'll be like, okay, quiet again. So, I go through those moments in my life, and I, I didn't know before.

00:43:43:20 - 00:44:03:21
Lourdes
I didn't know what was happening. And it was very painful. There's a lot of suffering, a lot of confusion. Now I know what's happening. So in the more you understand it, the less episodes you have and the less episodes you have, the more peace you have, and you can enjoy your life. Yeah.

00:44:04:02 - 00:44:20:15
Stephanie
You know, you brought up, just like a child throwing a tantrum typically, you know, it's getting to the root of it. Why is the child throwing the tantrum, like what is really going on underneath the surface? And I feel like, you know, what you said is it's the same with the mind. Like, where is this coming from?

00:44:20:15 - 00:44:29:22
Stephanie
What is what is the root of it? And once you can figure that out, then it's easier to, you know, move through it to learn and be able to move on.

00:44:30:00 - 00:44:57:05
Lourdes
Well, you know, it's funny you said that. I used to think that. I'm no longer interested, okay. In the why? It's not important to me anymore. You know what I mean? Because, you know, it's. You mind if you if you start going there. The problem step that I that I think it might happen is that the mind is very tricky.

00:44:57:07 - 00:45:29:08
Lourdes
So my trick you again into another conversation that will take you further from, you know, peace. So who knows why their mind does the things they do. You know what I mean? I think it's at the end of the day, it's just about going back to peace. Connection with God breathing. I just don't. Yeah, I yeah, I do me it would be like, okay, sit down.

00:45:29:08 - 00:45:49:15
Lourdes
My let's have a conversation about why you're doing this and, you know, and the awareness in why. I don't even know why. Sometimes there are things that we can't even understand why we're triggered by the things that we trigger. And it used to drive me insane, like. But why? I'm like, I don't know, but where does this come from?

00:45:49:15 - 00:46:10:21
Lourdes
I have no idea, you know? So now I just choose to, like, we're just having a tantrum right now. Yep. It's loud. Hmhm breathing, going out for a walk, you know, music, podcast, anything. And then all of a sudden is like, it's quiet, okay. It's go.

00:46:10:23 - 00:46:14:17
Seth
Letting the storm, letting the storm kind of pass.

00:46:14:18 - 00:46:15:19
Lourdes
yeah.

00:46:15:21 - 00:46:36:14
Seth
I think here's my take on that. Have you ever tried to have a. Reasonable conversation with an individual who is completely unreasonable? Let's just say crazy.

00:46:36:19 - 00:46:41:17
Lourdes
Let's just find crazy. And I think amazing analogy. Yes.

00:46:41:18 - 00:46:49:05
Seth
I think, Lou, you're talking about, like, sometimes we're crazy, like, hey, sometimes I know I'm crazy, right? And yes,

00:46:49:07 - 00:46:52:16
Lourdes
Okay.

00:46:52:18 - 00:47:15:19
Seth
So but if you've had an experience in your life and we all experience it to some, some extent as we try to come to self-actualization of ourselves, right? And the trauma that we experience the 0 to 7 years of age, our attachment attachment theory, right, trauma response, PTSD, depression, like all these things going around, sometimes we are just freaking crazy, right?

00:47:15:21 - 00:47:39:09
Seth
So if you try to reason with a crazy person, like I've never really been successful there, I'm sure, and there are some professionals who know how to do that I don't like. I don't know how to have a relationship with a crazy person. so finding peace, being aware, removing. I think that that can be an effective strategy.

00:47:39:11 - 00:48:08:20
Seth
you know, oftentimes and I also feel as I learn more and I kind of to, to this point of understanding what's below it, right? Why why do I do certain things? Well, if I try to talk to my, my crazy self, right. If I talk to try to talk to the uncensored part of myself, I might not get the the like like, you know, you're saying, okay, crazy self, let's sit down and have a have a reasonable conversation.

00:48:08:20 - 00:48:19:15
Seth
Yeah. Let me how that that's how you make two crazy people and then you become kind of like when I met Steph, did I tell you I was triple or something like, hey, hey, just so you know, lady, I'm tri polar.

00:48:19:19 - 00:48:20:17
Lourdes
I love it.

00:48:20:18 - 00:48:53:18
Seth
I only I made that up just because I knew, you know, if I said bipolar, she'd be, like, worried. If I said triple, she'd like you. Kind of got a sense of humor. Guy. But but coming to awareness and and sometimes not everything but understanding why I did certain things has helped me to to kind of go to that next level so that I'm not in this recurring kind of cycle.

00:48:53:20 - 00:49:21:06
Lourdes
Yeah. No. That's my yeah, yeah. And I and I do understand that part the way that I have lived it is, for example, there's these things called you know, like your leadership in light, in your leadership in shadow. So we all have our light in we all have our shadow. Right. But that's different to me. So I know the Lord is in the light and what she's like.

00:49:21:07 - 00:49:45:13
Lourdes
But I also know how Lord is in the shadows. Right. I don't know why the shadows are there and why Lord has got to those shadows. I just know that Jesus Lord is in shadow, you know. And understanding Lord is in the shadow helps me like okay, I am not coming now from my light. Same thing with leadership.

00:49:45:15 - 00:50:24:03
Lourdes
there is people that lead from their light or lead from their shadow at times. that's that's how I look at it. There's these other and I don't know if I'm going to pronounce it right. Enneagram. Does that sound familiar? Yes. That's important. Like, I did that, you know, in a, in a leadership retreat. And it was very helpful because you answer these questions and then it kind of tells you get your personality and you're like, oh, yeah, I'm these or I'm that or yes, you know, I'm demanding or I'm controlling or I'm theirs.

00:50:24:05 - 00:50:36:18
Lourdes
Okay, I know that. But it's just you just learn in a, in a more like, okay. So I'm controlling. Yes. But I just don't go into the why am control or where does that come from? Does that make sense.

00:50:36:20 - 00:50:38:12
Seth
Yeah. Yeah.

00:50:38:13 - 00:51:04:23
Lourdes
Well I it I think is super helpful. and yeah, you know the more we recognize us or and accept us, this is also about accepting us in some ways. you know, my husband knows me very well and I'm like, Yep. You don't even know. But I got all kinds of bad thoughts about you. Right now.

00:51:05:00 - 00:51:29:12
Lourdes
And he's like really. Well it's having to go oh I know they're, they do not like you right now. They are saying these and these and these and it's very therapeutic. But he taught me how to do these. He taught me how to exercise. You had to, you know, before they would only be in my mind. And I would just do bad things in.

00:51:29:13 - 00:51:42:18
Lourdes
So it's very important that we that we know our personalities and that we also recognize our mind tantrums. And most important, that we do something about it.

00:51:42:20 - 00:51:59:21
Stephanie
I think that's kind of where it comes in for me is if I can figure out for me, just my personality is I gotta know why. Like what? Like what is going on? What is what what what happened before that triggered me to to become this way or to feel this way or anything like that.

00:51:59:22 - 00:52:03:23
Lourdes
Maybe you're the inquisitive, you know, maybe I probably am.

00:52:04:01 - 00:52:04:22
Stephanie
I probably am.

00:52:05:03 - 00:52:15:00
Lourdes
I have to get there. Holy part of your personality. Because you're the investigator. You know what I mean? Yes. Well, will always want to know why. Why, yes.

00:52:15:02 - 00:52:25:16
Stephanie
Yes, I'm pretty certain that was part of line. Yes. I mean, I don't know. Do you recognize that in me? Me frequently trying to figure out why? I don't know, I know.

00:52:25:16 - 00:52:41:00
Seth
It maybe so. Like that's so not me that it didn't even cross my mind. I don't I haven't done my Enneagram, so I'm like, I don't know, I'm just a doer. Like I'm just a doer. Hey, you send me, send me whatever note you need to, but I'll be out there right?

00:52:41:02 - 00:52:42:01
Lourdes

00:52:42:03 - 00:52:45:09
Seth
I'll be dirty. I'll have mud on my boots.

00:52:45:11 - 00:53:05:16
Stephanie
Yeah, yeah, I am the inquisitive, inquisitive type, you know, and figuring that out for me actually empowers me more to not go back to that place again. And, I feel like it's been really helpful for me in my healing journey to figure that out so that I can recognize that sooner if it does come up again.

00:53:05:18 - 00:53:06:21
Lourdes
Yeah. For sure.

00:53:06:23 - 00:53:30:19
Seth
So you talked about muscles. You talked about this this developing the muscle of being able to be strong mentally. Right. or spiritually. You got to do the work. You got to do the reps. You got to do the exercise. What does that look like? Like they take us. So many people might be aware that something is out of sync or out of balance.

00:53:30:21 - 00:53:36:01
Seth
They might even know what they need to do, but not necessarily how to do it.

00:53:36:03 - 00:54:07:20
Lourdes
And that's good, because for me, I do believe as as you know, we're conversing here. We all are very different. We have different backgrounds, different different stories, different, breaking points, different styles. So but for me, I'm also question I mean, I question everything, I'm always, well, why but why? And I think my husband was like no reason going into world no.

00:54:07:22 - 00:54:29:10
Lourdes
So he has helped me just kind of to chillax when the wives gone. Right. But in my in my journey, it's, it's I've been like that since I was a little girl. So I knew that, I was born to, you know, be in this spiritual journey and get to know different ways to quiet the mind, mainly.

00:54:29:12 - 00:54:50:05
Lourdes
so I started with religion, you know, and I was a little girl going to church. I would love to go to church, and I don't know why, but now I do is is I just found this connection with God, and God is very important in my life. So that would be my number one. So if I could you just give me one thing.

00:54:50:07 - 00:55:20:10
Lourdes
I will go to God. God will heal your life. Period. Then done. End of the conversation. Now if you need other tools, it would be mentors, spiritual mentors. And I've had many different kinds of mentors, different religions and different philosophies, but all of them talked about the same thing. Quiet your mind and, you know, get a hold of your heart.

00:55:20:10 - 00:56:01:02
Lourdes
Trust your present moment. And, you know, so to me was very hard to understand that concept because like I said, I my mind was just so loud. So I would read books, I would, you know, cause constantly, I mean, I became a sponge for everything and anything that could help me understand this relationship with my mind and suffering and peace with what is not wanting to change my life.

00:56:01:04 - 00:56:19:14
Lourdes
so I went to silent retreats in Europe. I've been to Canada doing this regression into the womb kind of thing. I been to Croatia to yoga retreat. I been to Hawaii doing this on a piano.

00:56:19:17 - 00:56:31:18
Seth
I you, I think, I think you're not going to be going to very many of these alone. I think there's going to be another plus one here because I see this woman, she's always said, let's go to Hawaii and do yoga or let's go here and do yoga. Let's go do the, you know.

00:56:31:21 - 00:57:01:04
Lourdes
That's my life, I mean, forever. From now on, that corner is going to be that that spiritual, you know, retreat. So I'm very hungry for that. I'm very interested in that. I'm just so passionate about God and spirituality. So for sure, let's do it. Let's go. I know really good places. I know really good, you know, teachers.

00:57:01:04 - 00:57:04:01
Lourdes
And it'll be amazing. Love it.

00:57:04:03 - 00:57:24:12
Seth
Love it. Well, I want to jump into money. because that's that is on your vision board. And, you know, as you're going through the vision board, I had this big smile. You had health, you had family, you had work, yet spiritual life mindset. And, you know, outside of spirituality, religion, which, of course, you've said it. Stephanie said it.

00:57:24:12 - 00:57:46:02
Seth
You know, we believe it. We live it. That's that that's our anchor outside of that, where some of the areas that we could really serve women, you know, that women are our audience around the world. They're primarily your audience. The thousands, the thousands of individuals that you coach and help. I mean, I have been there in Mexico with you and Angie at these women's retreats.

00:57:46:02 - 00:57:53:22
Seth
I remember that beautiful yoga center, you know, 80, I don't know, 80 women in this beautiful. You would love this place.

00:57:54:00 - 00:57:55:00
Stephanie
I'm already dreaming.

00:57:55:00 - 00:58:21:12
Seth
About a beautiful little yoga studio. Yes, a little yoga studio with 80 people in it. Right. But yeah, architecture is beautiful. That the Zen type of gardens around. And I've seen the work that you do with women. So we, we felt like outside of, again, spiritual ality, which is core to our business, where could we really participate and make a dent, like where could we make a dent, you know, a little dent in the universe.

00:58:21:14 - 00:58:49:11
Seth
So, you know, that's what we talked about on on the show, which is mind and body, physical health and well-being. Both of those are on your your dream board, on your on your vision board, I should say. And then and money and I want to delve into this for, just a spell because I think it's one of those areas most women know about mindset, you know, and we need to work on all of them, obviously.

00:58:49:11 - 00:59:10:10
Seth
But the money side, because of our social histories, right? Because of social norms. Yeah, I think that money piece is an area where so many women over the next five, ten, 15, 20 years, we're going to see massive cultural shifts.

00:59:10:13 - 00:59:13:04
Lourdes

00:59:13:06 - 00:59:37:05
Seth
Women in the workplace, entrepreneurial ism. Right? women really talking more about wealth building. Right. So let's let's jump into that and, maybe some of your goals there. I think Steph has a question. And then and we'll get to some of the kind of the, the undercurrent there actually, no, let's do this before we get to that question.

00:59:37:05 - 00:59:55:18
Seth
If it's all right, you talked about you talked to. Sorry about that. I had another brilliant idea in your you were you were one of the top, you know, you were named one of the top women in the state of Arizona, the United States, one of the top women in business, right. And you talked about your drive and being a career woman.

00:59:55:18 - 01:00:16:03
Seth
Can you kind of take us there? You're in telecommunications. Talk to us about that. Lured us and then, kind of and what's required to be successful financially because you were successful financially. Can you just paint that picture for us? Because that's different than what you're living today. And I want I want to kind of just bring out that contrast.

01:00:16:05 - 01:00:23:09
Seth
Neither one is right nor wrong, but we'd love you to give your your perspective to women out there.

01:00:23:11 - 01:00:55:10
Lourdes
Thank you. You know, so when we talk about childhood, you know, I go back to, when I was 14 years old or not 12 years old, if my in my dad lost all his money, we were, you know, pretty good living, pretty good life. And then he lost it all. And I think that that was the beginning of a journey to go back to what, you know, to what I once had.

01:00:55:12 - 01:01:20:06
Lourdes
So since I was 12 years old, until, you know, recently, you know, the, the, the making money and the money talk was a hard one for me. And I think, and I'm saying it, it was because I believe in not longer is I know that I'm not there. I we will never get there. But it's my relationship with money.

01:01:20:08 - 01:01:43:01
Lourdes
it's it's it's very it's very healthy now. But it wasn't easy. I had to go through many attempts to, you know, be wealthy or not longer have stress because to me it was like financial stress. And I believe that there's a lot of people in the world that are suffering from financial stress, and it's not fun at all.

01:01:43:07 - 01:02:03:16
Lourdes
I thought, I need to work hard. That's what I did. That's what I was taught. That's what I saw my parents did. I worked hard and I was at the right time, at the right time, at the right place with the telecommunications industry. And I was 26 years old. I had 27 years old. I had just had a baby.

01:02:03:16 - 01:02:32:14
Lourdes
And, and I knew that I had a responsibility, you know, with this baby and in my life. So I worked really hard. And we just happened to be at the beginning of these momentum corp, you know, curve with the cell phone industry. So we did, you know, row you know, we rode that wave momentum. So I know when you guys talk about you know in our business like momentum like I know what that means.

01:02:32:14 - 01:03:02:09
Lourdes
I lived it in the traditional business. so it was a very long hours, a lot of work hard work, you know, and and we made it until we lost it all in the, to it, you know, 2008, crash. And that's when, you know, everything just in, just like, okay, how we're going back to not having anything at all.

01:03:02:09 - 01:03:25:01
Lourdes
So it's been this battle of making it and then losing it and then making it and listen to it. But that's part of building your your relationship with money. So now, now I can tell you that I, my relationship with money is different. I've been able to, understand, keep the money, make the money, keep the money.

01:03:25:01 - 01:03:52:07
Lourdes
And on on my way to create more. Because the way I see money now is from. I don't see it from a low vibration or low frequency, like fear of losing the money or, you know, like shame or, you know, worry. I now I look at it as, you know, abundance, the definition of abundance is that there's enough for everybody.

01:03:52:09 - 01:04:23:21
Lourdes
Yeah. And so that's the difference between before and that's, that's why I'm here. And just really recent, like I would say there, it took me a long time like from 12 years old to probably 50 years old. Imagine all those years it's taken me to finally have a good relationship with money. So, I do believe that this is a subject that we must talk about.

01:04:23:23 - 01:04:49:12
Lourdes
And, many, many people are not taking advantage of their right, their birthright to have a good relationship with money. And it takes money to change, you know, the world, like, you know, like you're saying, Stephanie, you need people with money to donate it so that we can help Africa. We don't have money. You can't give money.

01:04:49:14 - 01:05:12:19
Stephanie
Definitely. Well, and it gives you a freedom to be able to go on these trips or, you know, like you said, donate for a water well or, you know, so many things, something that I, have heard a lot of people talk about is, you know, some people think that wanting or going after a lot of money can be an evil thing, you know, especially in like, Christian communities.

01:05:12:19 - 01:05:29:14
Stephanie
And to me, money is just a tool. You know, it's it's not good or evil, but it will enhance what you can do. You know, if you have money, you can give back, you know, abundantly more, in ways than if you didn't have money.

01:05:29:14 - 01:05:51:16
Lourdes
Yeah, I don't, I don't and I think that's a limited believe that we where it is seed. You know somebody planted on us and we all did it like why no matter where you where you go, you talk in Mexico about what did your parents tell you about money. And they always say, oh, it doesn't grow on trees, you know, United States or what did you hear about money?

01:05:51:18 - 01:06:15:01
Lourdes
money is a root of evil. You go to Japan and is it like what? What happened? You know why? Money could be something else, but it was just money. Like, money is just is just energy is nothing. I mean, I don't understand. It is like love or, you know, other, emotions. Just money. I don't know, not emotions, but just energy.

01:06:15:01 - 01:06:23:21
Lourdes
So if I give if, if, if if, if you people like a couple like you, you're good. Good people.

01:06:23:23 - 01:06:25:01
Seth
Can you say that again?

01:06:25:03 - 01:06:43:14
Lourdes
Yeah. You, Stephanie and Seth Molder are very good people, and you deserve to have millions, billions, trillions of dollars in your hand because I know what's going to happen with their money. Thank you.

01:06:43:15 - 01:06:47:12
Seth
I like that. I think we're going to make a sound bite out of that. Let's, let's you know what.

01:06:47:12 - 01:06:48:16
Lourdes
We should do.

01:06:48:18 - 01:06:59:22
Seth
We should put that as part of our audio vision board. Yeah. And just like every time we walk into the office, in the studio here, lose voice. We did it. Trips are recording. Seth and Stephanie.

01:06:59:23 - 01:07:20:23
Lourdes
My alarm o'clock in the morning, so. Yes. And Stephanie Mueller, you are you know, tuners do that or billionaires do that. They have they have a constant reminder that's that's I mean they're programed that they already are millionaires and it's a good thing.

01:07:21:01 - 01:07:41:14
Seth
Well you are everybody listening to this. You are managing and I'm going to I'm going to take you in a little funky little ride here. So I've done this as we've coached, women around the world. And I've said, you know, how much are you managing right now? You think about managing money, right? How much are you managing right now?

01:07:41:14 - 01:08:02:17
Seth
And people usually kind of come up with a number. Maybe they'll come up with their net worth or they'll come up with, you know, most often actually, people will just come up with how much they make. Right? Because we're kind of in this idea that, you know, here's how much my company pays me. That's how I was. When, you know, I work for corporate America for ten years.

01:08:02:19 - 01:08:26:10
Seth
and I say, well, what if I told you you're actually managing millions right now? You're a money manager, your financial manager, or managing millions, and most people, like, don't think that they're managing millions. I said, listen, you might be managing millions of pennies, right? A million pennies, right? Which is, you know, how much is a million pennies?

01:08:26:10 - 01:08:43:15
Seth
And go do the math. It's what is it, $10,000 or something like that? $100,000. Right? You might have $100,000 net worth. That's a million pennies. Okay, something like that. I have to do the math. It's been a while since I've taught this, so don't get lost in the numbers here. But the reality is, if you had a million pennies, you'd have, you know, a certain amount of money.

01:08:43:17 - 01:09:14:20
Seth
You're already managing millions. What's the difference between managing a million pennies and managing $1 million, or a million dimes, or $1,000,005 bills? They're just a million units. So if you can manage a million small units well and efficiently and make that multiply and growth and guess what you could do? You could just as easily manage a million larger units.

01:09:14:22 - 01:09:33:14
Seth
Right? We're all millionaires. It's just how big are the units, the little blocks that you're managing. So when I start to think about it like that or what do second, I'm already managing at this level so I could manage it at another level and just kind of like open up a little gate in my mind and said, wait a second, right.

01:09:33:15 - 01:10:02:14
Seth
There's there's so much opportunity out there. Right. But like you said, I think many people have a bad relationship with money. you know, you talked about some of the, the subconscious or the training. Pardon me? The sayings and the falsehoods that have trained and programed our society. And we are products of our society as well as agents to affect change in our society.

01:10:02:16 - 01:10:08:04
Seth
Money doesn't grow on trees. Trees. Right. You feeling filthy, stinking.

01:10:08:07 - 01:10:08:18
Lourdes
Rich.

01:10:08:18 - 01:10:18:08
Seth
Or rich, right? Wait. Right. Sometimes people say, you know, rich people are. And sometimes people say, well, they might say greedy or something. And there's all these. I was.

01:10:18:08 - 01:10:19:09
Stephanie
Thinking, fat and happy.

01:10:19:09 - 01:10:19:18
Lourdes
Has this.

01:10:19:22 - 01:10:22:19
Seth
Well, exactly. And that's. And that's why you are right.

01:10:22:21 - 01:10:24:21
Lourdes
That's wrong. Wrong to this.

01:10:24:23 - 01:10:29:10
Seth
Yeah. That's why you're that's why you're right. That's why you are where you are, frankly.

01:10:29:12 - 01:10:31:17
Stephanie
Fat and happy.

01:10:31:19 - 01:10:36:11
Seth
I just walked into that one, folks. I just walked into that one.

01:10:36:13 - 01:10:37:04
Stephanie
You totally.

01:10:37:04 - 01:10:37:20
Lourdes
Good.

01:10:37:22 - 01:10:40:11
Seth
Wow, wow.

01:10:40:13 - 01:10:41:11
Stephanie
I know I'm not fat.

01:10:41:11 - 01:10:42:21
Lourdes
Go out.

01:10:42:23 - 01:11:13:10
Seth
You are happy, baby. but since since. Why? Why is why do we have this connotation? That money is filthy, you know, filthy, stinking rich, right? Like, I mean, if so, changing the narrative, changing our definitions of what that is, is critical. or sometimes for people, money is scary. I've actually heard this. I've heard it put this way.

01:11:13:12 - 01:11:36:02
Seth
I don't want the responsibility of that money. Because what if I can't handle it? What if I what if I don't manage it the right way? Right. And and all of those statements at some point have their root in ignorance of truth, reality or more likely, fear.

01:11:36:07 - 01:11:36:23
Lourdes

01:11:37:01 - 01:11:45:18
Seth
Right. And anytime we're doing something that's based on fear, we're, we're now going down to the you, the shadow person, the shadow you. Right.

01:11:45:20 - 01:11:46:22
Stephanie
That's low vibration.

01:11:47:01 - 01:12:21:14
Lourdes
Yeah. Yeah. It's all about. So I once was doing a a training or a, you know, a workshop. And this lady, we were, we were talking about our relationship with money, and she shared that when she was a little girl, her father had a lot of money. And he was killed because of that money. so imagine now you know her as an adult, her relationship with money.

01:12:21:16 - 01:12:47:12
Lourdes
So a lot of you know that which we should all look into our, you know, story, like from when we were little. And in my case, you know, we Stephanie, you know, I my dad had money lost it all. So it's about I don't want to I want to make it but I don't want to lose it or it's just this losing this money, not being able to keep it.

01:12:47:14 - 01:13:19:04
Lourdes
So I had to heal, you know, my that trauma release and and somehow, you know, now I'm not afraid and I don't I don't have the fear anymore. But it took a long time. It took many, many, many years. So everyone should at one point take a look at their core beliefs when it comes to money. You'll find so many answers and we have to do it because we could be healthier and happier.

01:13:19:04 - 01:13:20:14
Lourdes
Like Stephanie.

01:13:20:16 - 01:13:34:06
Seth
That's right. I'm just going to say it fat and happy. Fat and happy. wait we're talking about the fat of the I'm speaking from a biblical standpoint here that you will live on the fat of the land.

01:13:34:09 - 01:13:35:10
Lourdes
Yeah, right.

01:13:35:12 - 01:13:38:16
Seth
That that's just that's another word for abundance.

01:13:38:16 - 01:13:43:18
Stephanie
I'm going to make you a shirt that says my wife is fat and half.

01:13:43:20 - 01:13:49:10
Lourdes
and then you walk in and they're going to be very confused.

01:13:49:12 - 01:13:51:17
Seth
Thinking like, is that is that his wife?

01:13:51:19 - 01:13:53:14
Lourdes
Right.

01:13:53:16 - 01:13:58:02
Seth
We're going to make a new CEO and branded shirt that's going to say fat and happy CEO.

01:13:58:04 - 01:13:58:23
Lourdes
Yeah.

01:13:59:01 - 01:14:29:06
Seth
Oh my goodness. So interesting. I think an interesting part of your story, Lou, is that you were very successful in business and telecommunications again. you know, you had the accolades. You're very driven. you know, and progress minded woman. You leave that and you you partner, well, you partner with, for a practical stranger, from a chance meeting, right?

01:14:29:06 - 01:14:54:19
Seth
I think in a in a retail store or something. And and you and you move into the direct selling industry, which I think for, for many people. I mean, direct selling is one of the most successful industries in around the world. millions upon millions of people involved. I mean, billions upon billions of dollars going to, you know, Main Street homes, right?

01:14:54:21 - 01:15:19:08
Seth
It is not a it is you can be wildly successful, but it's a it is a business that really blesses the you know, I'll I'll put it this way. You know, we the people write not not, you know, a a kind of a, what do I want to say? an unfeeling, monopolistic, overarching industry, right?

01:15:19:08 - 01:15:38:08
Seth
It really is about the people, right? The people who are doing the work. What led you to direct selling? you know, we've never actually had that conversation on the show, but I think it I think it I mean, it's such a valuable industry, and frankly, it's such an approachable industry for so many women, in the world.

01:15:38:08 - 01:16:04:17
Seth
That's why 80 ish percent of the of direct selling professionals, consultants, independent business owners, they go by distributors, they go by lots of names and different companies and different products. but they are women. So what tell us about about that transition from, you know, if you if you're one sector to a completely different sector, which was foreign to you and why did you do that?

01:16:04:19 - 01:16:45:06
Lourdes
That is a great question. This is where I see it now. I've been an employee and I've been a successful business owner. and I've been a no. One marketer, and I'm talking from experience, everyone, you know, that I talk to, to give guidance. They always told me about having seven, you know, streams of income. Right. And I'm like, how do people have seven streams of income, you know, or you know, like I can barely deal with one, you know.

01:16:45:08 - 01:16:47:10
Seth
I mean, I need to have seven jobs.

01:16:47:16 - 01:17:25:19
Lourdes
So I. I didn't get it. I didn't understand it. So but you know, today I'm like everybody. And I'm saying this because, you know, there's be there are people that are very happy with their jobs. There are people that are running very successful business. I believe that everyone, regardless of you having a good, you know, professional career going on right now or not, should at one point get into direct selling, network marketing.

01:17:25:22 - 01:17:27:18
Seth
Or affiliate marketing.

01:17:27:20 - 01:18:02:11
Lourdes
Marketing, you know, which nowadays is just like very similar to digital marketing or digital business, e-commerce. I mean, all of that is really becoming, you know, one very acceptable, way of living. And, and people are starting to understand, oh, so people buy products online. Okay. People recommend products that they like. you know, it's like, okay, we've been doing this for a long time, folks, but I, I believe that there's more than even the business opportunity.

01:18:02:13 - 01:18:35:20
Lourdes
I was a very stressed, depressed, anxious, you know, having difficulty with, you know, the creating the wealth with my last business. And yes, we made millions of dollars per year. But the question was, how many do we get to keep? I mean, and and what kind of lifestyle do I have time wise with my family?

01:18:35:22 - 01:19:12:07
Lourdes
But that was the only thing I knew. Right? So if you don't know if that's the only thing you know, okay. All right. But if somebody at one point brings a conversation about, entering a really good company's culture and business opportunity, you should definitely take it. I mean, you should definitely listen to the, the option, because that's that's all it is, is a different option, is an option is an opportunity for you to live your life in a different way.

01:19:12:09 - 01:19:55:02
Lourdes
And you have to have an open mind. So to me, it's been the best decision in my life. Everything that I've said today about my spiritual life, my, my, my physical life, my, you know, you know, the home that I have of the travels that to be able to invest in, in more businesses is because of the opportunity that one lady, one lady by chance, a somebody that I've never seen before, that at the end of a workshop, I said something and I usually I'm very shy.

01:19:55:04 - 01:20:18:10
Lourdes
I'm an introvert. They believe it or not, I don't really talk to people, but I believe it was God. That's that said, ask her what does she do for a living? And I'm like, like you step like what? No, I don't want to talk to anybody. I'm depressed, remember? I just lost my business, you know? and, and I did.

01:20:18:10 - 01:20:41:02
Lourdes
I opened my mouth and I said, I thought, you know, I looked at her and I said, so what do you do? And that I never, never knew that that would be the most important question for the rest of my life that I could ask somebody. So it's changed my life is changed the lives of thousands of people.

01:20:41:08 - 01:21:07:07
Lourdes
And, you know, it will at the end be changing and impacting the lives of millions of people because of that one question and because she was she didn't judge me. And she shared, she didn't knew me. She no, she didn't know me. And she just shared from her heart something that she really believed in. And and that was an answer to my prayer.

01:21:07:09 - 01:21:46:16
Lourdes
so if you're asking somebody that is a big believer and, and I would say if you've, if you have an opportunity because I believe it's a gift, is it it's you have to be very lucky. And the definition of luck is when opportunity meets, preparation. And I believe that I was prepared, I was prepared, I, I was asking God for an opportunity to go back, to be able to be stable financially so that I could do the goodness that I know that he wants me to do.

01:21:46:18 - 01:22:08:09
Lourdes
and he said, okay, deal. I'm gonna send you somebody missing an angel. And when you meet her, you just you just ask the question. And that's what I did. And she's changed my life forever. Every time I talk about it, I like, I get teary, I like, I get really, really emotional because she. She truly changed my life.

01:22:08:11 - 01:22:14:22
Seth
Shout out to Laura Tuttle right now. Call it will call her out by name over the, over the digital airways.

01:22:15:00 - 01:22:15:18
Lourdes
Sure.

01:22:15:20 - 01:22:20:14
Seth
Good friend of ours whom we've known for goodness almost 20 years.

01:22:20:16 - 01:23:01:05
Lourdes
And her life changed forever to because she was brave, you know, enough to share a business opportunity. And again, I don't know why. you know, we don't talk more about different ways of sharing wealth, working as a team. there's just so many benefits, so many, many, many benefits. When you find a company that you know that does it right, you know that has the right values, the right price, and, and and it's really a, a vehicle.

01:23:01:07 - 01:23:27:15
Lourdes
Right. Because prosperity, it's open for everybody. You have to have three, three things a the right vehicle be you have to be able to develop skills and in that area. And three you must work on yourself. And this is a triangle. I learned it from Harv Ecker. he wrote the book, you know, The Secrets of a millionaire mind.

01:23:27:15 - 01:23:55:22
Lourdes
And I always teach it. So I know that we all have the opportunity to become financially, you know, free. Which means different things for different people. but you must have the right vehicle. And for me, I tried everything. I tried all the vehicles. And it wasn't until I found out where marketing, especially this company, that I was able to check that box work on the other two.

01:23:56:00 - 01:23:57:16
Lourdes
And here I am.

01:23:57:18 - 01:24:14:21
Seth
You have a brand. You are making an announcement for your your global business. kind of a rebrand or a a new kind of a new watch cry coming up. And I know you wouldn't even tell me what it was, but you're going to be announcing that in May, right?

01:24:15:03 - 01:24:16:09
Lourdes
Yeah. What?

01:24:16:11 - 01:24:36:20
Seth
Let's talk to the woman who's listening to this show right now and whatever country, whatever time this is what you're going to be announcing for your for your team, which is not just the team who of the of these women and the consultants and health coaches right now, but that next level of leaders who aren't even working with you yet, right.

01:24:36:22 - 01:25:02:10
Seth
It's that woman who it's that you. It's you who was praying for that angel. What? Without telling us the name? Right? Of, of kind of this, this new watch. Cry, if you will, your team name, this movement. What is that going to mean for? For that woman who's listening to this hope?

01:25:02:12 - 01:25:24:18
Lourdes
And, there's two words in the name, so I'm going to reveal one, which is one that is going to stay. And it's hope. Hope was revealed to me. I mean, hope was like a download from God like I knew. I go, I ask, what is the name of our tribe? And he said, Cobra. And I'm like, what does that mean?

01:25:24:20 - 01:25:55:04
Lourdes
And he said, it means hope means, you know, hope like we know and also means home of powerful entrepreneurs. So it was very clear from the very beginning that God really wanted me to empower or talk about the aspect of, you know, actually actualization. But he was very clear that we needed to activate wealth in the lives of people.

01:25:55:06 - 01:26:06:02
Lourdes
So we're going to have hope as one of the, the that's going to stay. The first one is the one that is going to change. And if I tell you the first word, you know, you'll know the whole thing.

01:26:06:02 - 01:26:08:12
Seth
It's trivial. You can't, you can't. I get it.

01:26:08:14 - 01:26:36:14
Lourdes
But, it's about collective now. It's not about me. It's about the collective. It's about all of us working together, and I. That's what I love about the the, the era that we're living in that it is it is very inviting to work in, in a team, in a tribe. And I believe that, you know, if you want to go fast, you can do your by yourself.

01:26:36:14 - 01:26:42:21
Lourdes
But if you want to go far, you do it with a team. I love teams, I love working with teams.

01:26:42:23 - 01:27:11:04
Seth
The stats, the stats. I think not just in our profession, but maybe actually just wider scale. All of business shows that women are 68% more likely to attain their goals when they have. You said collective, I'll say community, right? And I love that. If you want to, if you want to go fast, do by yourself. If you want to go far, do it together.

01:27:11:06 - 01:27:11:20
Lourdes
Yeah.

01:27:11:22 - 01:27:17:12
Seth
Do it with do it with. What's that of a secret word stock.

01:27:17:14 - 01:27:42:22
Lourdes
I'm not, I'm not. You can trick me into it, but it's very fun. It's going to be a lot of fun. It's going to be it's going to be very colorful and and, and I think at the end, I'm thinking about all the people that were like me in the dark, living in their shadows, that I'm no longer want to be there.

01:27:43:00 - 01:28:00:07
Lourdes
And if they find us, their life will change forever. And that's what's important. Inspiring us to do so. So I'm not doing it on my own. I'm doing it with my team. So we're all collectively creating. This is a co-creation. We're very excited. And for sure you're going to be invited.

01:28:00:10 - 01:28:10:15
Seth
More part of it. We're part of it. So we're excited. We're excited. We're going to go create. yeah, we're going to go create an empire of love.

01:28:10:21 - 01:28:12:12
Lourdes
Yeah, right. Love it.

01:28:12:15 - 01:28:16:23
Seth
All right. Well, Lourdes, thank you so much.

01:28:17:00 - 01:28:22:06
Stephanie
And a pleasure having you as a guest. And I look forward to, having you again.

01:28:22:08 - 01:28:22:18
Lourdes
Yeah.

01:28:22:18 - 01:28:25:15
Seth
In Africa.

01:28:25:17 - 01:29:01:01
Lourdes
And Africa already said it. So the universe already heard us, and all these little angels are already up. She said yes, and she said yes. Okay, done. Yeah. So they're going to be opening up all the doors that need to be open for you. And I hope that, that this journey of, of, of really creating wealth for people in Africa, in attracting or whatever you're going to be doing in activating, donations and, people wanting to help, it's, it's, it's big because, you know, we just all need to think like that.

01:29:01:01 - 01:29:29:09
Lourdes
We need to think big. We need to stop thinking about ourselves as small. we are not small. We are very, very important. Just as important as the galaxies, the sun, the Earth. You know, and we're just, you know, part of a universe that has no limits. So thank you for inviting me to this amazing conversation.

01:29:29:11 - 01:29:37:17
Seth
Well, you brought the fire, and of course, you would bring the fire because you are girl on fire.

01:29:37:19 - 01:29:48:16
Lourdes
Oh my God, next time I have to talk about that day. I have so much to tell you. I wasn't talking about it. that's. That's all I can say. It wasn't me many. It was just crazy.

01:29:48:21 - 01:29:53:13
Seth
Little, little cliffhanger. Little cliffhanger. We'll get to the girl on fire. story.

01:29:53:17 - 01:29:57:20
Lourdes
Right next time. Yes. Thank you. So. Right.

01:29:57:22 - 01:30:04:12
